My arms burned, trailing my veins with what felt like hot iron racing in my veins. It made my body flinch up to a sitting position/

Smacking my....My father right in the forehead with my own. Why is he here?

"FUCK!" I groan, laying back down.

"Language child... there are.. .your mother is here..." My father sighs.

I lay back down and realize something is drawing my body over behind my father.. My body already knows what it is.

"I need him closer to me..." I point to the door.

It opens, zed walking in slowly. He appears to be avoiding my gaze, his hair over his face...Hes been crying.

Hes grey... his whole body even buffer and bulkier than before...Hes build more like a martian.

He peaks up to me and I gasp.

Four eyes.

"Zed! Your eyes!" I reach out to him and realize I have four arms.

"What the fuck?!" I look down more and realize im in a half martian half human form, like zed.

"What the FUCK!" I yell again.

"MOM!" Boe comes running in, completely shoving my father out of the way.

"MOMMY!" Frankie yells, as he jumps on me. My mother going to stop him but Zed growled at her when she reached out.

"Mom, I was so scared you and appa weren't going to make it... V wouldn't let us see you and I just I knew something was wrong...." frankie cried. Boe agreed nodding yes as they both enveloped me in a hug, Not caring one bit about my extra limbs.

"Zed, are you ok?" I ask him after the boys have settled in my arms, I gently rub their heads while I look to zed.

"Yeah... yeah im fine." He whispers.

"Whats wrong?" I ask.

He looks to me once more.

"You can hear me. Right?" Zed says.

I flinch when i hear him in my head, but it makes him smiles a bit.

"Your mother said were mates, true mates, and because were mates... we can do that...share powers." Zed smiles.

"But that's...malakis.." I reply, my mother looking uncomfortable.

"We got Hendrix too." Zed tells me. I watch his hand form and reform over and over. I see it go from a fin to a monkey and to a bird claw.

"Im still getting used to it..." Zed whispers.

The boys go back with kim and gia while my parents look to me.

"Kii-ea. What were you thinking. Mating so soon! Youre still a child!" My father yells.

I hold up my hand. Already annoyed with his tone.

"You get no say in what I do here." I tell him, growling a bit.

"Excuse me?" My father asks, clearly not used to me rebelling.

V smiles to me in the corner, giving me a thumbs up. Shes proud im standing up for myself. 

Ive had it up to my wits end with this man's restrictions.

My whole life I could only have one friend.
