Huey woke up from his bed, feeling rested. He went to use the bathroom.

But he soon noticed something was wrong. The toilet was suddenly dissolved and broke apart from his pee. Huey backed away nervously as his eyes widened.

"Okay.....weird." Huey said to himself.

Huey went back to his room to put on his glasses, but then, he soon realized that he didn't need his glasses. When he put them on, everything was a blur. He sat them back on the table and saw that body changed while he was asleep. He looked at his muscular structure in awe as he was skinny before.

Maybe his grandpa was right. Maybe he was going through puberty.

"Huey, breakfast!" Grandma Gail Said from downstairs.

"Coming!" Huey Replied. He suddenly had a confident boost from this discover. "Okay, don't know what happened to me but....I'll roll with it." Huey thought positively.

He ran down the steps, smiling widely about this morning. "Well, you're certainly more eager than last night." Grandma Gail chuckled. "Well.....I got better." Huey said in a happy tone.

"Gail, what the hell happened to the toilet? It's all broken now." asked Grandpa Curtis.

Huey looked away as he knew what he was talking about.

"Oh dear. Looks like we're gonna have to call the handyman." Replied Grandma Gail.

"More like a contractor." Chuckled Grandpa Curtis. "Hey Huey P. Newton. How ya doing from last night? Seem like you were hung over."

"Yeah, I think it might have been the food on the field trip. I think I gonna have to stay home." said Huey.

"Nonsense. You're a soldier. You can get through school." Replied Grandpa Curtis.

"You better be getting going, Huey. I don't want to be late for the bus like last time." Said Grandma Gail.

Huey grabbed his backpack and walked out the door. "See ya when I get back." He ran down the sidewalk.

"We got a good boy there, Gail." Said Grandpa Curtis.

••••••••••

Huey ran for the bus once again like he did every morning.

"Try to catch up to the bus, backpack boy!" Students yelled as Huey ran faster with his cardio picking up. He grabbed the back of the bus by its bumper and tried to make it stop.

His feet were dragging into the concrete road as the bus slowed down, causing Huey to rip the back bumper off accidentally. Huey dropped the metal object as he went to get on the bus. The students looked at him in awe as he walked down the isle. Huey sat down as all the students moved to the other side of the bus nervously.

When he got to school, people were whispering about him in the hallways. For some reason, he heard all of them from a fair distance. He walked to his locker and got all his work out. He closed his door but it wouldn't close. He tried to get it shut more and more but it kept coming back open.

Huey had enough and ripped the locker door off and bent in sideways out of irritation. He looked up to see all the students in the hallway looking at him. Huey nervously shoved his locker door inside and walked away slowly.

Later, Huey was heading to his new elective class, feeling a little shy around new students. He really enjoyed quantum physics and wanted to look more into it.

Katie was trying to place her books down onto a table before someone pushed them out of her hands. She got down to pick up her books with a soft sigh, she then got back up and walked to a different table just rolling her eyes, not really paying attention.

Huey wanted to socialize with her but found himself too bashful to raise a breath.

Katie sat down and looked around to see if she knew anyone. She glanced at Huey as she memorized him from the field trip. Huey moves seats as he noticed that she wasn't sitting by anyone. He placed his stuff next to hers as she looked at him.

"Ummm Hello?" Katie Said, looking at Huey.

"H-hi. I'm Umm.....Harris Huey, I mean, Huey Harris! That's my name. Huey Harris." Huey said, stumbling over his words.

"I'm Katie Reid. It's Nice to meet you Huey." She Replied, smiling at him.

"So.....psychics, huh?" Huey said, trying to start a conversation.

"Yeah, it's one of my favorite subjects." Katie added.

"It's mine too. I've past science and they moved me here." Huey Replied.

"No way! So, you know about the quantum field theory of the theoretical framework?" Asked Katie.

"A little bit, yes." Huey said.

"So we have a smart guy at Harmon Academy. About time." quipped Katie.

"I'm just a smart guy who does smart things." Huey quoted himself.

"Okay Okay, no need to get intellectual on me." Said Katie. "Your friend Lamar seems kinda cool too."

"You know Lamar Liggins?" Asked Huey.

"Yeah, moody rich boys. Not my type." quipped Katie. "I am trying to get my life together though. I'm so sick of Jonas. I'm sorry you have to deal with him."

"It's okay. He's...... tolerable." reassured Huey.

"Nope. He's a asshole. I'm trying to get away from him and get a job at Mateo Worldwide Media." Said Katie.

"Cool. I'm trying to find a job too." Replied Huey.

Katie smiled, misunderstanding Huey. "We should go out sometime. Like hang out...as friends?"

"Sounds fun." Said Huey.

"Try to meet me at Gates BBQ and we can hang out." Katie smiled as the bell rang. Huey got his stuff ready and went to his next class.

Suddenly, everything stopped in a speed of sound, Huey's mind sensed danger. His vision zoomed into details around his environment. He moved just in time as he saw Jonas's fist coming towards his face.

Huey dodged his punch as students gathered around. "Think you're friggin funny, don't ya Harris?" Jonas snarled.

Katie got past all the students to stop Jonas. "Stop it! Leave Huey alone!" Katie yelled.

"Where the hell are all the teachers?" Asked Lamar. All the teachers were with the students cheering on the fight.

"I don't wanna fight you, Jonas!" Huey said as he got in his fighting stance.

"I wouldn't wanna fight me ethier." Jonas Said as he lunged his fists at Huey.

Huey dodges all the attacks with his newfound agility. The bystanders cheered loudly for Huey as he was running the fight. Jonas charged towards Huey with the intent to knock him out but Huey caught his fists and squished them as Jonas screamed painfully. The bystanders groaned and winced.

Huey knocked Jonas through the wall outside with a single punch as everyone cheered for him.

But soon Huey realized that he punched him too hard. Jonas didn't move as everyone grew to be worried. "Jesus, Huey. You're a freak." Scoffed Seth.

Huey ran away out of embarrassment as Lamar tried to follow his friend.

"Huey come back!"
