Huey was reading a article on Harrisboy from Mateo Worldwide Media online. He saw that they had a picture of him saving 7-11 from that robbery.
He scrolled down to see that they were offering applications. "Hmm, a newspaper job...." Huey thought.

The next day, Huey went to the Mateo Worldwide Media building in KCMO. He had some Harrisboy pictures with him along with his resumé. He walked upstairs to see Marcus Mateo, the editor and chief.
Marcus was on the phone with a bunch of news station. "I keep telling you guys I don't want a interview with Fox 4! I don't feel like seeing Mark Afford's pepperoni face!" He slammed his phone on the desk, hanging it up. Huey walked in timidly, nervous about the job interview.
"Who the hell are you?!" Marcus yelled.
"Oh, I'm Huey Harris. I'm your new intern." Huey replied.
"Oh sorry kid. I'm just a little pissed at WDAF bothering me with this guy named Harrisboy." Marcus explained. Huey looked around to see a bunch of newspapers with him on the front page. "I don't know what people see in that guy..." Marcus scoffed. "Who is Harrisboy? He's a criminal! That's who he is!"
Huey quirked his eyebrow. "You're threaten because he's black?" Huey asked, correcting the glasses he was wearing. "Nope, I'm threaten that he might try and destroy the entire city." Marcus replied.
Suddenly, Katie walked in and brought him coffee and bagels from Starbucks. Huey was in total awe as he saw what Katie was wearing. A blue and pink dress with high heel shoes. Her long light brown hair flowed the room as her blue eyes reflected off her glasses. "Here you go, Mr. Mateo." Said Katie. "Oh hey Huey."
Huey blushed as he studdered over his words. "Oh....umm......H-Hi Katie." Replied Huey. Marcus walked outside to the bloggers as Katie flipped her hair over her head. "I didn't know you worked here." Katie said. "Yeah...i'm a intern." Huey replied. "I was just filling in for the last intern." Katie said. "I'm a blogger here."
"Oh, you finally got the job." Huey said smiling at her. "Yeah, i dumped Jonas while he was at the hospital." Katie giggled. "So, what do you think about Harrisboy?" Huey asked.
"Well....to be honest....this can never get back to anybody but.....I think Harrisboy is....kinda cute." Katie said shyly.
Huey blushed but tried to play it off like she wasn't talking about him. "Well, he probably ain't all that..." Huey chuckled softly.
"He is." Katie replied. "He protects people. Something only comic book heroes do. He's like.....Superman, The Flash and Static Shock combined!"
Huey was surprised at all the superheroes she knew. Katie grew embarrassed on her comic book knowledge. She felt like a nerd. "I mean, he's pretty cool." She smiled bashfully as she fiddled with her hands. "You know, I'm a friend of Harrisboy." Huey admitted.
Katie was skeptical. "Really? I find that hard to believe."
"No, its true!" said Huey. "What if I could give you a date with Harrisboy?"
Katie turned around quickly in interested. "Go on."
"I can call Harrisboy and tell him to meet you at Wyandotte Lake." Huey told her. "He'll be wearing his finest uniform."
Katie smiled sweetly. "He better be there."
Huey chuckled. "He will, don't worry."
