Chapter Sixteen

Huey was sitting on top of his roof, looking at the sunset. He was worried about when his powers were coming back. Then, he realized that he heard a noise coming across town to Liggins Manor. His mind was telling him to go as Harrisboy. But he couldn't. His powers were gone. But somehow, he remembered he had a bus pass in his desk.

"Should I really do this? Break into this guy's house?"

He looked at the symbol of his suit and smiled. He hurried to go put it on.

Harrisboy walked to the bus stop and sat next to a man.

The man soon looked up from his phone and saw Harrisboy sitting next to him.

"Cool Harrisboy outfit."

"Thanks." Harrisboy Replied.

"Where'd ya get it?"

"I made it." Harrisboy Said.

"Cosplayer, huh? Was it hard to make?"

"It gets kinda itchy. It gets a little sweaty in my armpits too." Harrisboy Said.

Awkward silence pass by as the bus soon came. Harrisboy swiped his bus pass in the front and sat in the back as everyone looked at him.

By the afternoon, Harrisboy made it to the mansion two block away. He snuck over the gate, hiding from all the security cameras. He slipped through the back door to see the basement. The stairs were dark as it was poorly lit.

With his curiosity getting the best of him, Huey slowly walked down the stairs. The stairs led to a foggy laboratory. He saw all of The Black Plague's weapons. He had his black leather trench coat behind a glass case.

"Oh my God.......The Black Plague....is Lucious." Huey thought.

Suddenly, Huey heard steps going down the creaky stairs. He panicked and tried to hide to Lucious. He hid under the table, hiding his body from his archenemy.

Lucious strolled through the laboratory, changing into his alter ego.

"You're out there somewhere. I know it." He said menacingly. "You can't hide forever."

Huey was slipping from his grip on the table, seeing the asteroid on the table. He tried his best to keep his balance.

Black Plague then sensed something. It felt like someone was in the room. "Someone's here." He chuckled softly, he slowly leaned into the desk. "Ready or not.........prepare to die."

Huey bumrushed to the door, grabbing the asteroid and knocking out the lights with his powers. Black Plague chased Huey up the dark stairs. Huey ran as fast as he could to the door, jumping through the glass window as he flew away.

Black Plague flew after him, zapping him with dark energy until he flew over the fence. "HARRISBOY! They ain't nowhere that you can't hide from me!"

Huey flew as fast as he could, running into trees and branches, eventually falling onto a highway full of speeding cars. Huey avoided all the cars, trying not to get hit. He saw a truck speeding towards him as his indestructible body went through the truck. His venerability caused the truck to break into pieces. He saw that a family's van was almost gonna crash into the wreckage.

Huey turned into Harrisboy and stopped the family from crashing just in time. The cars stopped abruptly and saw Harrisboy saving the family.

The family saw Harrisboy and cheered for him. "Way to go, Harrisboy!" The bystanders cheered loudly and clapped for him. He saw that his hoodie was torn from the impact, along with his mask.

Harrisboy smiled and waved to the people cheering.

He flew back to his house, seeing that his powers were back from the asteroid he got in his pocket.

"I have to keep this, just in case I ever lose my powers again." Huey thought.
