Chapter Twelve

The Next day, Huey went with Lamar and Katie to Science City in Union Station. Katie was there for a article for the newspaper. Lamar knew Harold Draxler. His dad was friends with his dad, General Byers.

"This is quite the turn out." Katie said smiling. "Yup, lots of rich snooty white people." Replied Lamar.

Katie went to interview Harold Draxler for her blog. "Excuse me, Mr. Draxler. But are you interested in the news of the collaboration of Liggins Incorporated." Asked Katie.

"Mr. Draxler doesn't wanna be bother right now." His security said as he stepped in front of her. "I'll just make up what he said on the article...." Katie shrugged.

Huey smiled as he wandered around the party with Katie. "So How was your date with Harrisboy?" Asked Huey.

"It was amazing! I had fun!" Said Katie. "I just wish I knew more about him." Huey blushed as she looked at a picture of Harrisboy on her phone.

Meanwhile, a mysterious man in a trench coat walked up to the entrance where there were security guards. He had dark energy coming out of his hands as he stopped by the entrance. "Hey pal, ya need ID to get in." The security guard said.

"Oh really? I was just planning to catch up with a old friend of mine." The man with the deep distorted voice said.  The security guards noticed that his hands were sparkling. "Who the hell are you?" The security guards said as he drew their guns. "Who am I?" The dark figure smirked as he absorbed the energy out of the two guards. "I'm the Black Plague."

It was revealed to be Lucious, his whole body disguised in dark energy.

Meanwhile, Huey and Katie were watching the seminar on the asteroid from BioFarm. The audience clapped for Harold Draxler as he walked on stage with his father. He stood near the podium as the press were taking pictures. "For years, scientists from NASA have been trying to find radioactive materials from distant galaxies." Explained Draxler. "Not too long ago, an asteroid landed here in Kansas City. Scientists have confirmed this rock type to be: Alphanium.

Huey's eyes widened at the fact that this gave him superpowers. "We have discovered a thousand of these common anomalies far away from us." Said Draxler. "As long as we keep out of the wrong hands, we have hope."

Suddenly, lightning struck from as everyone screamed and moved away from the destruction. Huey and Katie got down under the bed as Huey spotted a dark figure arising from the mist. Lamar tried to get Draxler to safety but he was knocked unconscious by a falling beam.

The Black Plague flew towards Draxler as General Byers ordered his soldiers t shoot him. Black Plague deflected all of the bullet as he electrocuted the General and his men, turning them into skeletons. Draxler was horrified as he saw their bodies reanimated into his henchmen. "Get him over the truck." He ordered as his henchmen grabbed him and took him outside.

Huey rushed after them, leaving Katie behind. "Huey, where are you going?!" Yelled Katie. Huey ran outside to see The Black Plague getting away with Draxler and change into his Harrisboy suit.

The Black Plague drove through Downtown KCK, crashing into all the traffic as he drove. Harrisboy flew through the air, moving all the pedestrians out of the way just in time.

The Black Plague drove near the highway to KCMO, with Harrisboy standing on top of it. The henchmen began shooting at him as Harrisboy dodged all the bullets. Harrisboy took each henchman and threw them out of the armored truck. Fighting one by one, he might to get to the side door and ripped it off, grabbing The Black Plague. But soon, Black Plague grabbed his wrist, Harrisboy trying to get out of grasp.

"What are you doing?!" Harrisboy yelled.

"Giving you a new perspective."

Harrisboy soon was teleported into his mind. He was surrounded by darkness and distorted colors.

"I know everything about you, Huey Harris." A familiar voice spoke.

"I'm Harrisboy." He Replied.

"Don't play dumb with me. Nobody's enough of a idiot to know that Harrisboy and Huey Harris are the exact same person." The voice chuckles evilly. "I've been watching the news recently and I noticed that you've been more of a hero than you have you whole life."

"I am a hero. I save lives." He Stated.

"You didn't save Grandpa Curtis's life. You probably didn't save your parents."

Huey started to get emotional as he took off his mask. "What d-do you want?"

"If you know any better, Huey, YOU SHALL STAY OUT OF MY PLANS!"

Harrisboy soon snapped out of it as he punched The Black Plague in the face, causing the armored truck to tip over and crash.

The police arrived at the scene as Harrisboy emerged from the wreck.

"Freeze! Put your hands in the air!" They drew their guns at Harrisboy as he flew away quickly.
