The next morning, Huey woke up in a bad mood. His body ached from the night before. He also to finish an assignment for Mateo Worldwide Media by the end of the day. "A story about Harrisboy in it?" Huey thought. "So much for an easy assignment!"
Huey grabbed his camera and headed downstairs. In the kitchen, Grandma Gail prepared a lovely breakfast and packed Huey a nice lunch. But he didn't notice. Huey trudged out the door, barefoot paying attention to her.
Huey headed into Big Eleven Lake. Suddenly, he saw that a robber was stealing a woman's purse. Huey knew that he had to help but he didn't have powers. But just as he was about to change into Harrisboy.....a hand reached out and stopped the thief. It was a police officer.
Huey grabbed his camera and snapped away as the police took the criminal to jail.
"What a great shot!" Huey said. "This will definitely make the cover of Mateo. And no help from Harrisboy or any super powers!"
Huey looked around for other inspirational pictures to take. He noticed a big brother helping his younger brother back onto some monkey bars.
As Huey took more pictures, he saw several fire trucks racing down 7th Street, their sirens blaring. "I better change into Harrisboy and see if I can help!" Huey said as he followed the firefighters.
Harrisboy arrived at the scene and approached an emergency medical technician.
The EMT smiled. "Thanks Harrisboy, But we have everything under control." She said as she helped someone into the ambulance. "The firefighters have put out the blaze, and we're taking these people to KU Hospital."
Then, it hit Harrisboy. There are other heroes!

Huey felt good that there were people helping the city when Harrisboy wasn't around.
No matter who they were, Police, firefighters or regular people like him inbetween.
