Huey quickly went home and called his friend Lamar, but he didn't answer. He sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Forget Lamar. He wants to act butthurt about his supervillain dad, whatever." He thought.

He leaned by his window and saw Katie talking with her friends in her convertible car. "I wish I could tell her I'm Harrisboy.....but I can't." He thought, looking at her pretty face. He tried to stay focus, trying not to look stalkery. He laid in bed, taking his mask off.

"So......Lucious is The Black Plague." Huey said to himself. "In Hindsight, I should've suspected that before."

Just then, his phone rang. Huey answered it with hesitation. "Hello?"

"Am I speaking with Harrisboy?"

"This is He..."

"My name is Commissioner Reid. I work with the KCPD. I would like to have a conversation with you at midnight."

Huey was skeptical to get the police involved with his missions. But some superheroes have a good relationships with law enforcement.

"Where can I meet you, Commissioner?" Huey Asked.

"The Police Department on 7th Street. I expect you to be be there soon."

••••••••••

Midnight came as Commissioner Reid was smoking while looking at the city. He waited for Harrisboy while he looked at the gadget he saw gonna give him.

"Ya know, smoking can be bad for your health." A familiar voice said from behind him.

The Commissioner smiled as he turned around to see Harrisboy in his new suit. "I thought you would come quicker. I guess my daughter Katie was right." He chuckled softly.

"Whatcha call me up here for?" Harrisboy Asked.

"The Black Plague has been stealing valuable technology from various companies. Including Liggins Inc. I was wondering if you could be a detective while being a superhero."

"Commissioner, I do have a theory on your suspect." Harrisboy added. "But I'm gonna need you to let me handle the power hungry supervillain...."

"Now hold on, I understand you protect the city and stop criminals every now and then. But us police can handle the situation without you in the way."

Harrisboy felt offended.

"Excuse me?" Harrisboy Said. "Last time I checked, I was the one who tried to stop Black Plague in his truck."

"You also let him get away." Added the Commissioner.

"Because he nearly took my powers!" Harrisboy Replied. "If you try to stop that man with bullets, you'll all get killed."

The Commissioner rolled his eyes. "While I don't approve of some guy in a mask to protect the city, I want you to have this." He handed Harrisboy a watch in the shape of his logo. "It's a crime watch. Anytime we're in a situation we can't handle, I'll call you."

Harrisboy smirked as he slid the watch on his wrist. "Thanks for the trinket."

Harrisboy got on top the ledge, getting ready to fly away.

"Deuces."

He flew off into the sky. The Commissioner was hoping he made a right decision.
