"Valery get up" Zack says grabbing my arm trying to pull me out of bed.

"Why so early?" I groaned as I landed on the floor with a thud.

Zack races over to my blinds opening them which lightened the room making me squint from the sudden brightness. "It's twelve in the afternoon and you need to get ready and shower" he says and I rubbed my eyes.

"We're going out for lunch with Don and I have something to tell you, I'm not sure how you're going to take it" He says as I let out a yawn.

"Are you two smashing?" I blurt our and he laughs.

"Oh I wish have you seen his-" I cut him off by chanting 'la la la' and covering my ears.

"No unfortunately we're not, although I wouldn't mind" he smirks.

"But I'm off topic. It's something to help the moving on process for you. So get up have a shower and then we can get some lunch together because you my friend have a busy evening today" he says and I rolled my eyes.

"Alright I'll shower and change" I say standing up to pull an outfit out of my closet. I went with the simplest outfit for lunch just jeans and a shirt.

I had my shower quickly and changed also Zack begged to braid my hair so while he was braiding my hair, I applied a tiny bit of makeup so I didn't look like a zombie.

"Let's go Don's waiting outside in his car" Zack says and I nod grabbing my phone and shoving some cash into my back pocket.

"This is a really nice place for lunch" Zack says as we walked into the nice small cafe.

"They have the best cheeseburgers Val, also have the most amazing mac and cheese" Don says as we were directed to a small booth.

"Mac and Cheese sounds so good, I would normally go for a cheese burger, but right now I want some creamy Mac and Cheese" I say skimming through the menu in my hands.

We ordered and the service was so fast which was great. I was enjoying my mac and cheese while Don spoke about his morning job which was security or something.

"So Val are you coming to the bar today?" Don asks

"Actually she's busy today" Zack says and I raise my eyebrows at him.

"I am?"

"She is?"

Don and I say at the same time before he let out a chuckle. I took a sip of my ice cola before turning back to Zack to hear what he had to say.

"Actually, I set Valery up on a blind date tonight" he say and my eyes widened.

"What!" Both Don and I exclaim at the same time which made Zack laugh.

"Let's be real you need it and you could use a great distraction don't you think?" Zack says.

"Um- I don't know if I'm ready to get into that yet" I say and Zack shook his head.

"Come on, you're gonna go out there and have the time of your life tonight" he encourages and I sighed.

"No she can't!" Don exclaims and we both look at Don who was sat in front of us. He looked nervous for some reason before wiping his forehead with a napkin.

"Don are you alright?" Zack asks him and he laughs awkwardly.

"Of course why wouldn't I be?" He says let out another awkward laugh.

"Because you just said Valery can't go the date and your about to break that spoon in your hand" Zack says and he lets go of the spoon.

"Also your acting really weird" I add and his eyes met mine.
