Chapter 5: Perfect Date

*Sophia's POV:

"Oh my gosh!" Cindy exclaimed.

"What happened?" I asked worriedly with my eyes closed. Cindy demanded to close my eyes. I was shocked by her sudden outburst because I'm afraid she must have been hurt by accident or whatsoever.

"Oh my, Sophia! Open your eyes!" She demanded. I opened my eyes slowly. It was somehow blurry at first since I had my eyes closed for almost an hour. And when I finally had the chance to see myself clearly, I was shocked. I was amazed by what Cindy did. She fixed my hair and curled its ends. She even made my make-up. She chose light-colored shadings to fit my dress. My dress is actually light blue. It's sleeveless and ended a few inches above my knees. In all, I really looked beautiful.

"You look so beautiful, Sophia." Cindy commented. I didn't uttered a single word and just simply hugged her tight. I can already feel the tears that is starting to form in my eyes.

"Hey, don't cry. You don't wanna ruin your make-up, right?" She said. I giggled with her response. We saw Senia coming inside with a smile plastered on her face. We had a small conversation and said our guesses about Stephen's plan for our date. After a few more talks, we heard the doorbell rang. It must be him. Senia excused herself and said that she'll open the door. I took one last glance of myself on the mirror before going downstairs.

"You look so amazing." Stephen said as we are on our way to his car. I can't hide the tomatoes forming on my cheeks again. This guy drives me crazy.

"You look amazing as well, Stephen." I said as he opened the door to his car. It's true, he really looks amazing tonight. I can't even imagine how I control myself from kissing him. He looks so handsome. He just smiled at me and that's the time when we both left.

After almost an hour of driving, we finally came to our destination. Stephen went outside the car to open the door for me. As soon as I stepped outside his car, I was extremely amazed by the sight of the place. There was two fountains on both sides and even petals of roses were all over the ground. The direction of the ground lead to a special place a few meters ahead. Even from afar, I can hear the sound of a violin and a piano. Overall, it was truly romantic. I'm not used to this. I'm not used to being cared and loved by someone besides my family. It's very unusual. 

"Do you like it?" He asked.

"I love it, Stephen. Thank you so much." I replied. This time, I faced him and kissed him on the cheeks. He smiled at me and intertwined his hand with mine. He always brought shivers down to my spine every time he holds his hand with mine. He was the only guy that I loved this much. He was the only guy that brings shivers to my spine. And he was the only guy that made me feel this special.

We silently walked with our hands intertwined with each other. As we were getting closer, I can hear the sounds of the violin and the piano more clearly. He pulled the chair and I took the seat. We chatted, talked, ate, and laughed. We told each other our secrets and even the most embarrassing moments in our life. 

"So you were the one that played a prank at me last summer?" I asked as I recalled what he did last summer. It was one of the most embarrassing moments in my life.

"Well, maybe." He said smiling. 

"I never thought you'll do that." I said to him. He just smiled at me and we both shared a laugh.

After a few more minutes, we heard the song "I Won't Give Up" being played. That song is one of my favorites. It's really meaningful. Stephen suddenly stood up and walked beside me.

"Will you have a dance with me?" He asked as he offered his hand for me. I swear, if I haven't have any blush on as my make-up, I'll definitely look like a tomato in front of him. Why Stephen, why would you be this sweet? I accepted his offer and we both started dancing. He placed his hands on my waist while mine was on his shoulder. We continued to sway and stare at each other's eyes. When the song was about to end, he placed his forehead on mine making my knees go weak. 

"I don't know how I'll go on a day without seeing you. You made my life complete. I love you so much that I'm afraid to lose you." He said. 

"You'll never lose me. I'll always be yours, Stephen." I said looking at him. "I love you so much, Stephen." I said as I leaned forward and kissed him. We both know that this relationship will face so much obstacles that will test each other's faithfulness. If you really love someone, you won't give up on him/her no matter what. You'll always be there until the end. And I know that Stephen and I will last forever. I'll always love him.
