- PERRIE -
The car ride to the party is pretty awkward. Alex and Em is chatting about who will come to the party and who won't. I get to sit in the front seat beside her brother, not saying any word for 20 minutes. I just tell him a quiet 'thank you for the ride' when we arrive.
"Woooh! Let's get this party started!" Em shouts when Alex's brother is gone.
"Yeah!" Alex shouts and they do a high-five. I stand beside watching them, and again, it feels awkward.
"Come on Pez! Change your mood, hey?" Alex tells me.
"Yeah." I answer shortly, faking a smile again.
We get inside of Johanna's house, which is huge. There's already plenty of people here, dancing, drinking liquids in different shades of bright colours, making out in some corner.
Yeah, I feel uncomfortable.
"Here Pez!" Alex shouts over the loud music. She holds up a red cup with some blue liquid, and I can tell by the smell that it's strong.
"Thank you." I tell her loudly and she nods as to say 'you're welcome'. Then she's gone.
I get to the living room, looking for a place to sit. I find a couch and some armchairs, and one of the armchairs is free. I sit down, taking a sip of the very strong alcoholic drink that I got from Alex.
To the left of me there's a dance floor. To the right there's a sofa where a girl is laying on top of a boy with only her bra and panties on. He only wears his boxers, and he moans loudly as she kisses him and sucks on his skin at random places of his body. I feel like I have to puke.
After a while I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, you should get up and have some fun!" Alex shouts in my ear. She takes my hand and drags me up to the dance floor. She starts to jump up and down shaking her head in all different directions, and to not look dumb I start to jump a little too. Alex starts to move her hips and tells me to do the same. It feels awkward, yeah, but I hope I fit in with everyone else.
"Oh." I can her Alex sigh.
"What?" I ask her, not stopping to move my hips, because now I find it fun.
"You see that girl?" She points out to the hallway.
"Who?" I ask, not sure who she means.
"There, the one with brown ombre."
Now I see. A girl with long brown ombre walks into the hallway with a smile. People back away from her, as if she's dangerous, but she doesn't seem to mind.
"What's with her?" I ask Alex.
"You don't know?" she asks me shocked. "Oh my g- Oh, right you don't go to parties." I'm confused.
"What?"
"Her name's Jade, and she's at every party even though she's never invited." Alex tells me.
"Oh."
"And she's a..." Alex trails off.
"What did you say." Her mouth get's closer to my ear.
"She's a lesbian..." When I look at her she makes a disgusted face.
"Oh." is the only thing I say.
"You don't think that's awful. Like she has girlfriends. That is just disgusting." she explains to me like I didn't know what 'lesbian' is.
"Is it?" I ask, confused.
"Yeah?" she answers like it was obvious. "That's not normal. She's just so... I don't even know. Like she can just flirt with you. Who would ever want a girl to flirt with you? Girls and boys are supposed to be together." She pauses to take a sip of her drink.
"Not girls and girls. That's just so wrong."
"And that's why people back away from her and doesn't invite her to parties?" I ask.
"Yeah, of course." She starts to walk away from me, but remember something.
"My tip to you is that you should do like everyone else and just stay away from the little disgusting girl that could make you be hated by everyone in this room..." Now she walks away and doesn't get back to me.
I take it as a warning from her, but I don't understand. I don't understand what's wrong with her, and even though I feel guilt against the girl walking through the crowd right now, I'll do like Alex told me.
I drink the rest of the liquid in my cup and gets a new one. I drink it up in less than a minute and then I take a new one. I want to find Alex so I don't have to be so I don't have to stroll around here all alone.
This party wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I don't feel completely lost, and everyone is going they're own way. Therefore it's not really a "trend" to follow.
I find Alex sitting with Em and Johanna by another group of sofas than the other one I sat by. I sit down beside Alex and she lays an arm around my neck.
"Hi, baby. You wanna get inside a room and... and maybe have some fun, huh?" she asks me and sits closer to me. She bites her lip, and I guess she wants it to look sexy.
"Uhm..." I start and the three girls burst out in laughter.
"Did you really thought I was serious?!" More laughing. "I was just imitating the disgusting lesbian over there!" she laughs and points to Jade. I look at Jade, and she turns her head. Probably because she heard the laughter. When she sees the finger pointing to her, her shoulder drops down and she looks away.
The three girls doesn't even bother about Jade, and that makes me disappointed, especially Alex. Alex is a good girl, she cares about people, and she knows what's right and what's not. It makes me sad that she can call a girl that she doesn't even know, words like 'awful' and 'disgusting'.
"Hey, Pez?" I hear Johanna ask me, and I wake up from my thoughts. "You wanna play thruth or dare?" she smirks.
"Sure." I say, not so sure about if I really want that.
"Okay, I start." she says.
"I ask... you Em. Truth or dare?"
"Dare." Em answers bravely (at least she thinks she is).
"I dare you to go and make out with Adam." Johanna points to a guy with blonde hair that has way too much spray in it to stand right up in the air, and he wears some awfully ugly trousers.
"Okay." she answers.
The three of us that's left witness Em hook up with the guy, making out with him right in front of his friends for some minutes. When she gets back, Alex and Johanna cheers as Em winks to Adam. I sit there, feeling uncomfortable.
"So, I ask you Perrie. Truth or dare?"
When Em says my name I freeze. I don't want to choose dare, because making out with someone would be extremely embarrassing. I've never kissed any boy, so I would never fix that.
But, I don't want to be worse than Em.
(A/N: I'm sorry if the chapters are a little boring, but soon things will happen ;) )
