I looked in her eyes as she touched my cheeks softly. "I love you y/n", I whispered as tears ran down my face. "I-I love you too, Shawn", she said as she moved towards my face to press her soft lips on mine. We just stood there for a while kissing each other and crying out of happiness at the same time. My cellphone broke our passionate kiss by ringing loudly. The tunes of Stitches were just playing along. I didn't want to break this moment.
"Who's that? Shawn... just reply", she smiled.
I smiled back. "Hello?"
"Hey Shawn. What's up? Do you remember me?", a female voice asked.
"Uhm... nope...?"
"I'm Sara. You know? You gave me your phone number last month. We were like a... can I even say 'couple' for 3 weeks till you had to take your flight back to Canada."
I remembered her. I just had fun for a few weeks with her to forget y/n...
Y/n and I split up a while ago and today I just came here to see her and both of us were pretty sure that we've missed each other. So we decided to try it again. And now this girl's calling me after a month. What does she want?
"Shawn? Are you still there?", she asked
"Yeah. Yeah. What do you want me to tell? I haven't got that much time."
"I am in Canada"
I sighed.
"And?"
"I have to talk to you. It's really important. Is tomorrow okay?"
"Fine. Tomorrow at my place. You know where I live right?"
"Yeah you've told me before"
"Ok fine"
I closed my phone and looked back at y/n.
"Who was that?"
"Doesn't matter. Now... I'll have to make it up to you"
"Because?"
"Because we've lost so much time because of the circumstances of the past. So... what do you want to do today?"
"Uhm... what I want to so...", she said while she placed her arms on my shoulder, "is just looking in your beautiful eye"
"Eye?"
"Yeah. The other one's lazy hahaha", she joked.
I pulled her on my body and made us both fall on the couch.
We kissed for a long time. Then we watched a movie in the evening and fell both asleep in each others arms.
-y/n POV-
When I woke up I saw Shawn laying in my arms. I carefully moved his arms from my body and walked into the kitchen to make breakfast.
I turned the music on and danced while i cooked.
"...Tear up my reputation, manipulate my decisions, baby there's nothing holdin' me back. Dam dam dam dam"
I placed the eggs on the table put the bacons next to them and made some green tea.
Everything was placed on the table and it smelled pretty tasty.
"Mmhhh what's that smell? It smells really good", Shawn said in a still sleepy voice.
"I made breakfast, sleepy. Come to eat with me"
"Could I just have y/n for breakfast?"
"Nope. I've already cooked"
"Why didn't you wake me up?", he asked
"You were just sleeping cute. I mean... you are just adoreable you know"
"So are you", he came and gave me a hug from behind. He placed a soft kiss on my neck making me shiver.
"Shawn... stop it", I told him
"What?", he kept on kissing my neck.
"Torturing me"
He smirked. "Fine"
He sat on the table and started to eat.
As I wanted to sit down, I heard Shawn's cell phone ringing.
"I got it", I said and walked into the living room where his phone was.
