"Just... don't come to see me again. Don't talk to me ever again. I don't want to see you.", he said not looking into her face.
"Shawn... please forgive me! I had to do this"
"You had to tell me. I would have helped you."
There was a long silence till Shawn broke it.
"Where is Jasmine?", he asked. He wasn't facing Sara.
"Upstairs", she answered. -Shawn's POV-
I just couldn't believe what Sara told me. My whole world went upside down and I couldn't... I just couldn't believe it.
I went into Jasmine's room. She was there in her bed but her light eyes were open. She smiled as she saw me.
I smiled back to her and cried.
She held my finger with her tiny hand.
"I will always love you, Jasmine. It's not your fault. Mami's just acting wrong... that's all. I will miss you, my love."
I kissed her all over her face and left the room.
"Y/n, thank you", I said.
"Don't thank me. Thank Cameron. I know it's not easy for you but it's better this way. I mean before you are publishing everything and living a lie."
"Thank you both... I... uhm... I'll just get some fresh air. I want to be alone.", I told them and left the house.
I drove into the woods and sat there on my small rock. Yeah it was mine. I always came here when I felt bad.
I felt the coldness on my body as I sat on it and breathed deeply.
I picked my headphones and listened to music. Music made me feel better. It was always like that.
I closed my eyes and thought about y/n and how I neglected her for so long.
I couldn't believe how someone could dare to lie about something like this. Everyone who knows me, knows that I am helping everyone as long as they ask and don't lie to me. But Sara played herself.
I also thought about Cameron. He was better for Y/n. I know that they both love each other more than friends. Y/n maybe more than best friend but Cameron even more.
I thought about telling y/n to be with Cameron... I mean, he even helped her out with Sara to have a better relationship with me. Cameron really gives a lot things up for her. He is brave and loves her just too much. No one could hurt her if he was around her. I wanted y/n to be happy, but as long as she was with me that wasn't possible. Our love is cursed. It was like this too when we came together for the first time... not that way but it was really bad.
~Throwback~
"Yo Shawn, wanna go to the party tonight? It's just a few streets apart from us", Geoff asked me.
"Nah... I have to write that song... the melody just stuck into my head and I don't want it to get lost. Just go, bro"
"No, Shawn. You work too much. Come and celebrate a bit!"
"But 'Handwritten' has to get out soon! That one song... please! It will be great!"
"Maybe you get more ideas OUTSIDE. I mean... at the party"
"You won't let go, am I right?", I asked him and he nodded immediately.
So we both went to that party.
"I have a melody... but no lyrics. My struggle right now", I told him.
"Just calm down. You will find something great just like you did with the other songs"
As we arrived Tatiana welcomed us to her party. "Shawn... I haven't seen you for a long time. How you doing?", she asked me smiling. I smiled back.
"I'm great... I work a lot but... I'm great, thank you"
Geoff pulled me into the 'real' party, in the room where everyone was.
And suddenly I noticed a girl with a purple dress. Her smile was beautiful. She gave me that positive energy. Everywhere she looked she smiled and was happy. I loved her positivity. "Go talk to her.", Geoff said winking. "N-No... I... no"
I just couldn't move. She made me stand there like an idiot.
And then the lyrics came.
"And I don't even know your name. All I remember is that smile on your face", I whispered.
-1 Week later in the market-
I was there searching for milk and chocolate. My mom just forgot to buy them and wanted to bake muffins.
I took the milk and the chocolate and walked towards the Bubblegum-shelves and took the 'Hubba Bubba' ones. Those were the best and then... as I looked up... I saw her beautiful face again.
"Y/n!", her friends called after her.
"I'm coming!", she said carrying candy in her arms. Her voice sounded like heaven. "Y/n... now I know your name...", I thought smiling.
In that time I was 15 years old. I was just a weird kid following girls. I actually was following y/n outside forgetting the milk and chocolate. "Hey! Y/n!"
She turned around. I didn't believe what I had done. I just called her after her name.
