The warmth engulfed the world like a thick blanket, holding all who wondered it within a tight, loving embrace.
My peace was here, outside, my siblings in sight...that's all I ever want, for them to be safe and out of harm's way.
But, like all children, we will never get our beloved dreams turned into a reality...instead we get this abomination!
Vylad plucked at the long strains of grass quietly while Zane was hidden in the shadows of the trees, drawing peacefully.
When pulling his chair out from the shed I stumbled upon an old football hidden out of sight and smiled.
I intended to keep my deal with Zane...but, heh....I suppose one game of football won't hurt him.
"C'mon brother, only one game!"
I smiled
"No"
He sneered
"Please?"
I begged, Vylad looking up at me with a smile.
"See!? Vylad wants to play, we can't play with only two players"
I chuckled as he gave me a glare
"Yes, you can..."
He replied
"Not in my game"
I grinned, taking off my red jacket and tying the sleeves around my waist.
"Yeah, well your game sucks dick"
He sneered, brushing a bunch of pencil sharpening off his sketch book and down to the ground.
My eyes narrowed.
"Fine...we'll play without you"
I growled as I crossed my arms, half expecting him to bounce up to his feet and plead for a second chance like he once did as a young toddler.
But no, he merely chuckled and got back on with drawing.
Vylad tugged at my white t-shirt from behind, gesturing for us to finally get on with playing.
"Heh, alright, I'm coming"
I smiled, tossing him the ball.
He smiled and began practicing, bouncing the football on his knee for a moment before passing it me with a gentle tap on the side of his foot.
Easily recieving I kicked it back for him, chuckling softly as it hit against the fence behind him.
"Score!"
I cheered.
He pouted and kicked it back at me, increasing the force as to knock it against my fence.
Baffled I looked to him as he crossed his arms and grinned.
Oh it's on!
Half an hour in we was neck and neck with 3 on each side, and it was I who had the ball, heading straight for the goal.
However, Vylad slashed his foot against the balls side, catapulting it over the fence (diagonally) to hit against the side of our neighbours wall and ricochet back into our front garden.
He winced, half expecting a window to get smashed in the process.
I suppose we was lucky for no response came.
"I'll get it"
I stated, walking through the side gate and to the front garden.
It was much smaller than our back garden due to the cracked pavement running straight down from the door.
The shrubs were unkept and windows were misty.
Soon spotting the ball just by the road I walked over, kneeling down before hoisting it from the gutter.
As I did so a rather familiar voice spoke.
"Well, well, well, what have we got here?"
I looked up at who it was, instantly narrowing my eyes to see the so called 'Casanova' glaring down at me.
He had a green plaster over his nose, a minor concussion no doubt the cause.
Vylad's friend from earlier was also there, stood behind him with a small, reassuring smile.
Aphmau was also there, seeming happy to see me too...how odd.
And there next to her was Laurence, him being the tallest of the three staring directly at me.
All four of them were still in their school uniforms.
I watched him for a moment.
"The fuck you looking at?"
He sneered, baring his teeth slightly.
"...dunno, but it sure is looking back"
I replied, gaining a chuckle from the Aphmau.
He glared.
"Whatever 'G-Garroth' ...you a fan of footy or something?"
He questioned as to avoid further frustration, lifting a brow.
"You could say that..."
I mumbled
"Hmh...and where are your brothers?"
He added, my eyes rolling away from his.
"Like hell I'd tell you--"
I jolted as Dante intruded in on the conversation.
"Vylad!"
He smiled, looking behind me to the side gate, Vylad peeping round the corner.
I sighed, biting my lip before glaring.
Dante smiled and ran towards him, Vylad jolting slightly.
"Wh, no!"
I yelped
Travis and Laurence quickly followed, Aphmau momentarily watching as I blocked their path to the back garden.
"You can't come in here!"
I stated
Father never approves of strangers in the backyard, especially children that of my age!
They let up a grin, Vylad, hiding behind me.
"Oh and why not?"
Travis grinned
"Because I said so, now back off before I bust your nose in...again!"
I snarled as he growled
"that a threat?!"
"Maybe!"
He pushed me, grinning as I stumbled.
"Ease off guys...if he doesn't want us in the yard we don't go in"
Aphmau pleaded, seeming unsure of all this.
Vylad narrowed his eyes at Dante, managing to calm him into joining Aph's protest.
Travis rolled his eyes.
"Heh...I bet he's just scared of loosing a game of footy, afterall we are well known champions"
Laurence grinned, standing tall.
I'm hating this guy more and more by the second...
"...we are?"
Travis mumbled before gaining an elbow to the stomach.
"Ack!"
"We can settle this in an easy game: you win we leave you alone, we win you let us stay in the yard"
He bargained as I bit the inner skin of my lip.
"...the game will be unfair, we have only two players..."
I stated
"Fine, Aph and Travis won't play"
He merely replied, extending a hand to shake.
I rubbed the back of my neck, watching it.
What if dad comes out?
Will he get mad?
I couldn't bare the though of the humiliation when he'd yell.
But...hm...I suppose one game won't hurt.
Hesitantly I shook it, getting pulled into his chest as he embraced me, patting my tender back as I gasped.
The sent of Colone shredded up through my nostrils, the warmth making me jolt and blush a deep red.
He attempted to pull away but laughed as I gripped his left and right lapel and hid my face within his chest.
He can't see me like that!
