Chapter 4

English was a reasonable lesson, well, so far anyway, the bell had rung and we was packing away.
As I scooped up my bag and plumped it on the table I could feel how desperately the eyes that watched me from behind.
But, I suppose that's what comes with being the new student...gosh I hope Vylad's okay.
I had Maths next and kept a keen eye for my brothers but that proved unsuccessful.
However, I did spot Kawaii~Chan at the bottom of the stairs and found the eager courage to approach her.
Her attention was attracted towards a dark haired beauty that harboured books within her pale fingertips, a gentle smile already in place to present her glistening teeth.
And stood next to her was a rather tall brunette, his slumped posture as he knelt against the lockers giving his slim, well built structure a flashing glance to my naked eye.
My heart skipped a sudden beat.
His shirt was loose, collar untucked, shoes uncleaned...yet there was something so...beautiful hidden.
Transfixed within his figure my foot slipped the last couple steps, the sudden loss in control snapping my head back into reality.
I yelped, tripping forward.
Kawaii~Chan's ears twitched and pulled her friend from the firing line but was unable to warn the former man.
He hadn't even realized until we collided, his firm body falling sideways to the floor as I fell to my knees.
I gasped, feeling a wave of embarrassment as Kawaii~Chan let out a small giggle.
"Oh my gosh are you alright?!"
The unknown girl questioned as I soon discovered her name to be Aphmau through kawaii~Chans reassurance.
"Calm down Aphmau~Senpai, Garroth~Kun only tripped a few steps"
She smiled, my eyes looking up to notice the stunning brunette sat up, his legs spread as he rubbed his head irritatedly.
"The hell was that for?!"
He snapped, glaring directly at me from the parting of his knees before standing.
I looked up as he only sneered.
"S-Sorry"
I stammered
"That didn't answer my fucking question!"
He snapped back, grabbing me by the collar and hoisting me up to face him.
My head ducked into my blazer as my feet dangled downward, instinctively causing my grasp to grip onto his wrists.
Our eyes met.
Oh Irene.
Although he sneered I grew hot under the collar.
I wasn't scared, nor was I concerned by the deadly glare identical to my brothers.
Instead a heavy blush formed, being fueled by the rough, tense, impulsive experience his hands harboured.
Silence hit the firm air, Kawaii~Chan and Aphmau watching as I found myself incapable of speaking.
"...Laurence put him down please"
Aphmau pleaded, 'Laurence' giving her a quick glance before doing so.
I watched how his muscles flexed seductively at the actions inflicted, a thick build up of salvia gulping down my throat.
"Thank you"
She added
He merely rolled his eyes and began walking, triggering Kawaii~Chan to do the same.
Still frozen on the spot Aph gulped
"Uhm...nice to meet you anyway"
She smiled before walking off.
I was lost for words.
How, why, when did I?
Then it hit me.
... no, no, I can't possibly!

In the attempts to regain control I began walking to maths class.
Trigonometry
Decision
Square roots?
Indices!
Quadratic formula!?
I hadn't realized that the path I was tracking was identical to that of Laurence's, In fact, I must have been right behind him.
As soon as I walked into class HE was there and it was HE who only had the last remaining seat next to him.
I took in a deep breath and walked over, laying down my bag.
He was faced away, yes, though I still got the vibe he tolerated my presence.
"Hm...hi"
I mumbled
"You say something?"
He questioned, glaring towards me.
"...nothing"
I muttered, sitting down.
"Speak up!"
"Nothing!...it was just a 'hi'...it doesn't matter"
I replied as he rolled his eyes
"Whatever you say... whoever you are"
He grumbled, his dreamy eyes trapping mine to watch him.
"Garroth"
"What?"
"My name, it's G-Garroth"
I huffed
He said no more after that, simply staring into mid air as I took down notes of the lesson.
It's either he didn't care or purely wasn't bothered because he clearly wasn't doing ANYTHING...but damn he looked good doing it.
"...aren't you going to write notes?"
I questioned
"Why should I? This topic sucks anyway, I know everything about it"
He stated
"Wh, how?!"
I gasped
"Eh, strict parents, got me studying early at primary, I suppose you could say early education"
He replied, yet again looking to me.
"Oh...well could you help me?"
I questioned
"...why would I do that?"
He sneered in response as I frowned.
"You really don't get this school do you? We don't 'help' one another, in fact, the only reason I'm putting up with your bullshit is because your trying to take my girl!"
He snapped
"...your girl?"
I spoke
"Well, yeah, no? Aph and I ain't officially together but I know she wants me, I can feel it!"
He stated rather proudly, crossing his arms.
So he's straight...hm.
I chuckled.
"...what you Chuckling at?"
He questioned
"Oh nothing just...heh, you honestly think she wants you? Of all people?"
I giggled, giving a sly grin.
"Oh think you can do better?!"
"Yes, yes I do"
