How could I ever imagine Laurence loving me..., He hates me enough as it is...
He's so-so fit and strong and handsome...a complete opposite to me.
My brothers, my parents, my 'friends'...they all hate me somehow...why...W-What did I do wrong?
...
Sometimes it's good to cry, decompressed every now and then from my nurturing love.
I sat within the corner of the restroom, hearing the bell sound yet refusing to move.
I was too exhausted to bother, sobbing openly with my head crooked back against the wall uncomfortably to force my straining eyes to watch the light.
The fear of someone possibly walking in on me no longer mattered, they'd probably just poke fun and leave me here.
However as a familiar voice came closer through the raging crowds I glances to the door, watching it intensely.
It began opening.
My initial instinct made me get to my feet, grip my bag and lock myself in the stall, close the lid and wait it out there.
The being whistled softly as they walked in, my tearful eyes staring at the stall door.
They tried it but discovered it was locked before trying the other two, getting stuck with the one next to me.
I held my breath as they hummed in pleasure, releases their waste with precision and confidence.
The cringe built up within me like a the bubonic plague, the rubber of my shoes skidding off the seat to let out a loud screech against the floor.
I flinched.
They stopped.
My presence must have came to a shock to them.
"...hello?"
Oh god.
My face grew red and flustered as I heard his voice.
Laurence...I can't believe it, him of all people.
I let out a sniffle but quickly covered my mouth and nose at the realisation.
"..."
He finished off and listened to me lose oxygen, taking a seat as I then let out a slow, shaking breath.
"... what's wrong?, Why are you crying?"
He questioned
What is he doing?
Why's he here?!
Why hasn't he just left?!
It dawned on me that Laurence...is quite a nice guy...why else would he be doing this?
Wiping my eyes I shivered and whimpered.
"Hey...don't cry...you getting bullied? I'll knock their lights out"
He chuckled, making me giggle softly.
"Yeah right"
I mumbled beneath my breath.
He spoke softly and calmly to me... having no clue at all that it was me.
This made me think...he'd go this far for a weeping stranger...he wasn't as complete a dickhead as I initially thought.
He, with his manipulative charms, ushered me into unlocking the stall as he most likely wanted to see who I was.
Shocked to see it was me I merely went past him to wash my face.
I refused to make eye contact.
"...Jeez uhm...you cry?"
He questioned, making me chuckle softly
"Of course I do L-Laurence, I'm sure you do when your upset"
I stated
"Me? Cry? Never mate, I just don't have an emotional side"
He replied
"Sure, whatever you s-say"
I scoffed, drying my hands.
He lifted a small smile before rubbing my hair.
I flinched but let him grip and squeeze it's strands as he pleased.
It made me heave.
"U-Uhm, I must really get to my brothers now"
I stated.
However, he ignored me and pulled me in by the waist.
"Laurence!"
I gasped
"Why were you crying?"
He questioned me, looking down with a set of fierce eyes.
"Why w-would you care?"
I replied
"I'm here ain't I?"
He smiled, an almost grin taking form.
I sighed and looked away, down to our crotches inches away from eachother.
He watched me closely.
"Urgh...it's nothing Laurence...just some issues"
I eventually replied
"What kind of issues?"
He questioned me further as I giggled, pushing myself away playfully before giving him a soft smile.
His expression was not that of which I'd seen before, care, concern and somewhat sympathy mixed within.
"It's nothing Laurence, honest...but if you're so worried about little, old me you could always walk me home"
I offered, my hands behind my back, linked professionally.
A smile ignited.
He, rather suddenly linked arms with me, taking me by surprise.
Oh jeez I must be asleep, why's he acting like this?!
I was expecting him to decline, but no, he walked with me out to meet my brothers and for some miraculous reason he fully escorted us home.
Zane seemed puzzled, watching us closely.
Vylad looked happy to see us getting along well.
I was still blushing to comprehend what was happening.
This has to be some sort of joke...if it is, it's a pretty sick one..
"Why are you acting like this?..."
I questioned
"Acting like what?"
He replied, turning to face me as Zane went to check the door, Vylad following him.
"Y'know, all kind...it's weirding me out a little if I'm honest"
I chuckled as he laughed softly.
"Well uh...I don't know, I just...heh, you seemed a lil annoyed earlier with me...and when i returned Aph--...,the others, they got pretty mad"
I knew that by 'others' he meant Aph and her alone...but to hear him correct himself in my concern filled me with a sense of meaning.
"Why'd they get mad?"
I questioned
"I'd already gotten you in trouble once...y'know at home...so being mean at school with you just wasn't right, and they knew that"
He replied, looking away momentarily.
"...he uh...didn't hurt you did he?..."
I froze.
"...why do you ask?"
I replied.
My question rose concern for him, his eyes scanning me.
My suspicious attitude was making me vulnerable, his eyes on the verge of breaking my flesh and seeing straight through my disguise.
"...he doesn't, of course he doesn't...just gets mad I guess..."
I looked away, for I couldn't tell the lie to his face without regret.
He picked up on it.
For an annoying sod he sure is observant.
"Hm...well, if you ever wanna talk... here's my number"
He smiled, handing me a premade piece of paper with his number on it.
"...you planned this"
I chuckled before I took it.
"Eh wrote it while talking to you in the cubicle...you big crybaby"
He replied.
"Hey!
When you've done flirting get over here! You have the damn keys you cunt!"
Zane yelled from behind me.
"I'm not flirting!"
I grumbled, a wave of red dominating my cheeks.
"Eh, it's alright, Zane's probably just jealous--"
"JEALOUS?!"
"--that you have such caring friends rather than that stupid gang"
He finished.
The specification of 'gang' stuck out to me, so did my encounter earlier.
"Yeah, Dante told me!"
Laurence snarled directly at my brother.
They merely growled.
"Alright, Alright...see you at school tomorrow Laurence"
I smiled before he left, my eyes immediately ejecting to Zane with a somewhat glare.
"...what did he mean by that?"
