i initially came out in grade 8 to my closest friend- and she was so supportive. she moved away that summer and she continued to send me supportive paragraphs and messages. then- one day she had come back for a weekend and later i found out she had told a bunch of kids at a party that i was gay and she also outed me to my cousins (big thing for me!!). anyways- that stirred up more of the shit i got from certain kids at school (gross slurs being throwm around, but i look back at it now and i know that this kid was just being a dick cuz hes a dick and i shouldnt of put myself down about it). life is way better now tho- a couple years later and i have new amazing friends who accept me (after trying to "prove" i was straight ive finally started to come out to new friends within the past 5 months) and everytjing is just so much better!! things turned out fine and as much as i resent the girl i told 4 years ago, im happy.
