So I'm a bi girl and I live in Canada it's a pretty accepting country and I haven't been bullied or harrassed but before coming out to people especially religious people I ask them their thoughts on gay and bi people to be sure if it's a good idea to come out to them and most of the time they say homophobic stuff like its better to be single than be gay or that gays shouldn't be open about their sexuality and other things like that. And sometimes when the subject is aborded they also say homophobic stuff. The more complex side of that is that these people are your friends and you dont really know what to so in that situation so you just dont mention the subject of sexuality.  Another thing that I've noticed with bi people is that when you date someone of the opposite gender then people automatically think you're straight and being bi was just a phase or  experimentation. This if course doesn't compare to the bullying or harassment a lot of the members in the community experience.
