Do you see that little ball of light?

That one - out of the millions.

Revolving around it are smaller balls called planets;

and that one there - one of the smallest,

is called Earth.

The star that guides it is small,

but the tiny creatures living on it

see it as so large that they call it

"the Sun."

The creatures are but specks of dust,

fading away as quickly as they appear.

Yes, those are the ones the Creator loves most.

He became one of them,

yes, formed into a speck of dust like them

just to die for them-

to be blown away in the most awful, painful way.

Why?

Well He spaced out the stars for those creatures,

made the universe perfectly fine tuned

so that the Earth could hold them,

breathed His own breath of life into them,

set them above all creation

as the masters of this planet,

and loves them more

than He loves the whole universe.

He named each of them

as He named each of the stars!

He gave them thoughts, ideas, creativity;

intelligence, conscious, emotions,

and most importantly freewill-

the most risky gift of all.

And of course, they abused it.

They named themselves.

They heightened themselves,

glorified themselves,

sought themselves and their own desires.

Its a disease- from the first slip

they cannot stop slipping.

That is why God had to become one of them,

to die for them you see-

for even those who wanted to do good still

could not keep themselves from slipping.

Some still try even now

to make themselves good on their own;

others don't care, assume they are already good,

and others assume they could never be good enough.

Either way, they perish the same.

Such a terrible fate rightly deserved

no matter how hard they may try to be honorable.

Their universe is so large to them,

yet they still see themselves as the center.

There are few who look up, around,

reminded they're less than a dot on a sphere.

Their existence means nothing,

and indeed leads to ruin,

when they ignore they Creator who had a plan.

The stars have no mind -

yet glorify God as they shine.

The flowers have no conscious -

yet magnify God with their colors.

A rock has no morals -

but represents God sturdy strength.

Man has mind, conscience, and moral -

but reject from whence it came.

Still the Creator loves them all the same.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16
