Ice Age: The Middle

CHAPTER TEN

Hi everyone, sorry that I didn't post on the set date (Thursday) it's now Saturday. I took a few days off due to being sick but i am now better. Hopefully next week I can do better with the updates.

So without further ado I present Chapter Ten

As Manny, Sid, Sarabi and Diego were walking down the hill. Sarabi could hear groaning and the sound of something approaching causing her to look over to her left and couldn't help but to let a giggle escape her mouth as she watched Crash and Eddie rolling down the hill on a log.

But then out of no where Ellie came past causing Sarabi to let out a gasp of shock as she accidentally jumped back into Diego.

"What the...?" Sarabi questioned with a silly smile on her face causing a small smile to appear on Diego's as he looked at how happy Sarabi was.

"No brakes. Gotta roll. Meet you at the other end." Ellie shouted as she rolled herself was causing a bigger smile to appear on Sarabi's face.

"So you think she's the girl for me?" Manny questioned causing Sarabi to stop smiling and look up at Manny in confusion.

"Yeah. She's tons of fun and you're no fun at all." Sid said as if it explained everything. "She completes you." Sid quickly added seeing the glare that he was getting from Sarabi.

Soon after Sid finished speaking, Sarabi heard movement causing her attention to turn to Crash and Eddie to see them stumbling out of the log, looking drunk. Sarabi let a giggle escaped her mouth once she saw the two brothers try to high-five each other but missed and Eddie fell to the ground.

"Hey, Manny. Can you pull back the tree and shoot me into the pond?" Crash asked looking up at Manny and climbed up the tree that was next to him.

"No." Manny said bluntly walking past him.

"Come on." Crash begged.

"How do you expect to impress Ellie with that attitude." Sid complained walking ahead to catch up with Manny while Sarabi and Diego stayed back a bit.

"I don't want to impress her." Manny glared down at Sid though he didn't looked fazed at all.

"Then why are you trying so hard to convince her she's a mammoth?" Sid retorted causing Sarabi to stop in his tracks.

"He, sadly makes a valid point." Sarabi mumbled causing Diego to let out a chuckle.

"Because that's what she is. I don't care if she thinks she's a possum. You can't be two things." Manny argued causing Sarabi to sigh as she decided to sit down and watch this play out.

"Au contraire, Man-fered. Tell that to the bullfrog, chicken hawk or turtledove." Sid said counting from his claws.

"He's never gonna let up on you." Diego said appearing from behind Sid, causing Sid's smile to grow. "It'll be easier on all of us if you just go with it." Diego finished causing Sarabi to let out a huff of air.

'Males.' Sarabi thought narrowing her eyes at the boys in front of her.

Manny turned to look at Sid who was giving Manny an 'I told you so' look before Manny let out a sigh of annoyance before he turned to Crash who was still in the tree, but this time with Eddie who was pushing him like he was on a swing.

"So uh, what do you want me to do?" Manny questioned looking at Eddie.

"Pull back the tree and shoot me into the pond." Crash exclaimed.
