Ice Age: The Middle

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Hey guys sorry this chapter is a little late... *whispers to self* by two weeks.... If you have forgotten the reason it is because I have recently moved into a newer house and I was two weeks without WiFi but up until yesterday (09/05/2019) late I got it back. 

I would have published chapters more earlier today, but I had some businesses to attend to. But I finally had time to write the missing chapters. which in case you haven't read my announcement I have at least 5 chapters worth to write for this book, which I will be writing in a row.

So enough about that and lets get on with the book.

After hearing from Ellie's side of the story, Sarabi couldn't help but to feel offended and appalled at her brother's behavior. Sure it has been years since Manny has been with a female of his own kind, but that gave him no right to flat out tell Ellie that they should practically mate and reproduce their species. 

"You know Ellie." Sarabi spoke up after 5 minutes of silence and ignoring the males pleads to slow down. "Sure what Manny did was awfully wrong of him to do." Sarabi looked over at Ellie to see if she was listening to her or not. "It's been years since Manny has been with a female of his own kind." Sarabi said causing Ellie to huff and look down at her newly found best friend.

"What you getting at?" Ellie asked annoyed as they started to make their way into a fog covered area.

"My point is, Manny was nervous. I know I shouldn't be saying this but you should know." Sarabi said looking down in thought.

"Know what?" Ellie questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"The last time Manny fell in love. He was forced to watch his wife and child die." Sarabi said quietly causing Crash and Eddie, who were obviously listening, to gasp.

"I had no idea." Ellie whispered almost sadly.

"That's okay, only few know this." Sarabi mumbled sadly, looking over at her only female friend.

As everyone was walking threw the foggy area, Sid wasn't watching were he was walking and ended up hitting his unfortunate little self against a rock causing a small smirk to appear on Sarabi's eyes as her emerald green eyes shined through the night.

"Watch out, there's a stump." Crash called back as he ran off.

"Not anymore." Sid groaned as he closed his eyes holding himself.

Up further Sarabi watched as Manny tried to talk to Ellie causing a small smirk to appear on Sarabi's face. This ought to be good.

"What are you up to?" A deep husky voice spoke right next to her right ear, causing a small shiver to run through her body as she looked next to her and saw Diego.

"Nothing." Sarabi shrugged innocently, as she walked on ahead of Diego causing the said male to shake his head at the female Sabre he would do anything for.

'That women has me wrapped around her paw.' Diego thought as he continued to watch Sarabi walk away, his eyes shining in the dark. 

It only took 60 seconds of silence before everything suddenly went downhill. Well so to speak..... rocks tumbling and crumbling as everyone was on different platforms. 

Sarabi watched in horror from her safety perched as the platform the everyone else was on could most likely be the cause of their doom.

"Stop moving." Diego yelled as he struggled to hold onto the ledge dangling with the extra weight of Sid pulling him down.
