Ch. 7 Teams

~Y/n pov ~

Today I heard we were going to be split into teams and that would be the end of our academy days.

I would have to tell my squad my secret though, so I need to be able to trust them.

I sighed , brushing my h/c hair over my ears.

We were sat down waiting for Iruka. Teams were being announced today and everyone was super hyped, they were all chatting eagerly, while me? I was just kinda sat here awkwardly staring across Sasuke to look out the window.

The class room door opened gaining my attention. Iruka walked through the door with his usual smile and a clipboard.

"Alright class, I will be announcing the teams." Iruka smiled as everyone was cheering and hollering.

Iruka cleared his throat and everyone fell silent,"Team one..... Team two..." he droned on for awhile til this caught my attention. "Team Seven, Sakura Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki-"

Iruka was cut off by Naruto cheering and Sakura's head hit the desk, "I'm doomed.." she muttered.

Iruka ignored them and continued, "Sasuke Uchiha,"

The roles were now reversed, Sakura was now cheering and Naruto was muttering, "I'm doomed.."

Iruka sighed clearly frustrated, "And Y/n L/n."

Sakura sent me a glare as Naruto smiled kindly at me.

"That's all." Iruka dismissed us for the rest of the day and tomorrow we had to go wait in the classroom to meet up with our Sensei.

A/n I realised the first three books I wrote all the chapters are mostly under 500 words I used to do chapters so short, but my most recent books the chapter at a minimum of 500 words and on average 1000-2000 words.
