Ch. 23 Sick

~Y/n pov~

I woke up in bed from my 10 minute sleep and groaned, I was sick.

My nose was very stuffy and I kept coughing and spluttering.

Well, there goes my plans for the day of training with the squad.

I grabbed my remote and turned on the TV. I tossed and turned knewing about my insomnia, even when I'm ill, I still can't sleep.

Knock knock!

"Come in. " I yelled not wanting to get up and get the door.

I heard the door opened and sensed Kakashi as his footsteps approached my bedroom door.

He saw my ill state and looked at me in pity, "so this is why you didn't come to train."

"Geez you're so smart." I responded sarcastically.

Kakashi rolled his one visible eye, "I'm going to get the squad to visit, in fact they are already on their way."

As if on que I heard my front door open and then my squad stepped through the house into my bedroom.

Sakura was super worried and made me some soup. Kakashi left at that point.

Naruto was really sweet and gave me flowers, I politely accepted them but out of the corner of my eye Sasuke rolled his eyes.

Naruto left soon after.

Then it was just me, Sakura and Sasuke. After I ate my soup Sakura cleared away and politely excuses herself, leaving me and Sasuke alone.

I think she did this one purpose, now all was left in my house was me and Sasuke.

It was just me and Sasuke, Sasuke approached my bed and sat on the end of it.

"Feeling any better?" He asked sweetly.

"Not really." I smiled at his attempt of making me feel better.

Sasuke hesitated, "Look I uh.. I like you okay?.. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled, "Of course."

Sasuke smiled kissing my forehead.

Eventually I got bored and I think Sasuke noticed, he scooped me up and held me bridal style.

He carried me to the sofa as we both sat down cuddling in a cacoon of blankets and decided to watch films.

I love Sasuke and time with him is peaceful, he calms me and my insomnia goes away with him. I think I'm in love.
