Ch. 31 Stormy Nights

~Y/n pov~

I was laid under the dovet scared.

Crash!

There was a thunder storm and I was terrified of thunder.

Sasuke wasn't here yet, so here I was crying under the covers.

I hope Sasuke came soon.

Not long after I heard the front door creak open, follow by some more thunder.

I yelped and tried to ignore it,tears were streaming down my face.

Sasuke called out for me until he saw me under the covers with my ears and tail popping out.

"Hey y/n it's okay." Sasuke comforted knowing about my fear of thunder storms, "I came as soon as possible when I saw the thunder storm, it's okay."

Sasuke knew about my fear but I didn't tell him why.

Sasuke sat on the edge of the bed and I sat up and leant into his side.

Sasuke wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into a side hug.

" I probably need to tell you why I'm so scared of thunder storms." I said to Sasuke.

He nodded patiently waiting for me to continue.

"There was a storm just like this when my village was massacred, so now whenever there is a storm I get scared." I cried.

Sasuke shushed me and hugged me to his chest.

"I'm going to change real quick okay?" Sasuke told me going to the bathroom with some sleeping clothes.

Sasuke now had some of his clothes here as he normally spent the night to get rid of my insomnia and now I somewhat slept.

Sasuke came back a minute later and slipped into bed.

He pulled me towards him, as I laid down and snuggles into his arms.

The duvet spread over both of our forms.

In his arms I felt protected, I felt safe.

With that I drifted of to a peaceful sleep despite the thunder storm still going on.
