Everyone finally arrived at the village gates so we decided to set off.

Naruto seemed extra hyped and excited.

"Why are you so excited Naruto?" Sakura asked.

Naruto grinned, "It's my first time leaving the village."

We proceeded to walk when we came across a puddle. Strange it's sunny and hasn't rained for days.. Its an ambush.

I smirked 'accidently' stepping in the puddle while adding chakra to my foot.

I looked at everyone else, the only person who seemed to have noticed was Kakashi.

Suddenly , chains swung out and grabbed Kakashi tearing him to shreds but I knew it was substitution because I could still sense him.

I leapt into action grabbing the chains and slamming one of the dudes into the ground.

Sakura was protecting Tazuna and Sasuke took down the other guy, but Naruto seemed to get injured.

Kakashi appeared and tied up the bad guys, "Hey everyone!"

"Good job Sasuke, y/n and Sakura!" Kakashi praised, "Sorry for not helping you sooner I didn't know you would freeze up like that Naruto."

"Those claws were poisoned, so we need to extract it." I explained.

"We should head back to the village and go to the hospital." Sakura added.

Naruto stabbed his hand with his kunai, "I pledge in this wound I will protect the bridge builder!"

Kakashi smiled, "That was really cool and all but if you bleed much longer you'll die of blood loss."

Naruto panicked at the realisation.

I sighed and got out my bandages, "Hand!" I said sternly.

Naruto held his hand out as I stared at it watching it heal, must be the kyuubi.

"Why are staring like that will I be okay?" Naruto yelled.

I started wrapping the bandage, "Hmm? Oh uh yeah your fine.." I tied the knot, "And done!"

We walked for a while then got on the boat. I ended up having to sit right in front of Sasuke as there was not much room.

Sakura didn't complain, it seemed she had gotten over Sasuke.

"Tazuna you need to explain!" Kakashi sternly told him and so Tazuna explained why Gato was after him.
