Ch. 29 Chunin Exams Pt. 4

She smirked evilly at us, we were under some sort of trance as our legs went stiff and wouldn't move.

The woman grinned at our helpless positions.

Sasuke and me stabbed our legs in order to move. Sasuke grabbed me by the waist and I grabbed onto Sakura pulling her away from the danger.

We landed on a tree a few feet away.

Sasuke engaged in combat and I assisted where I could while Sakura stood back.

Naruto arrived and he and Sasuke worked as a team instead of fighting.

The creepy person called themself Orochimaru and was apparently a male.

He managed to bite Sasuke and give him some sort of curse before leaving.

Me and Sakura picked up Naruto and Sasuke and found a cave.

We were looking after them but as I was replacing a rag on Naruto's forhead.

My vision faded and I fainted.

I woke up to see Sasuke and Sakura were gone but Naruto was still here.

I crept to the entrance of the cave as I heard fighting.

I saw some beats up sound ninja and Sasuke passed out.

Some other squad were there and Sakura's hair was now short.

We have some catching up to do.

I managed to steal the earth scroll from an unconscious body.

We were at the tower and it seemed we made it in time.

When we opened the scrolls Iruka popped out and told us we had won.

We were holding preminlary rounds as so many people got through.

There was an odd number of people so the Hokage decided I would not be participating and was automatically through by default.

The battles were pretty boring and Sakura ended up winning hers which made me very proud.

The finals were next but we had 3 months to train for them so we had a bit of a break.
