XXX. So Little Time

Hello!!! This is kinda late and a sort of a filler chapter, pero may mapapala pa rin kayo dito. I just got a new job (yes!) so, I wasn't able to update this one right away. Pero wag kayo mag-alala, I will finish this story no matter what. More revelations will happen at malapit na nating malaman kung sino ba talaga ang may pakana ng mga killings sa dalawang schools.

By the way, anyone of you guys know how to do a Book Trailer? Parang gusto ko kasing gawan itong TLISA, hindi ko nga lang alam kung paano. So if you have anything to share, please don't hesitate to write it down on the comments box! Thanks much! :)

***Dawn's POV***

You're the #one. Be ready to face Death.

I crumpled the paper again and all I could feel was anger. Who the hell are you?! Napaupo ako sa gilid ng kama ko at nag-isip. Isang red note. Isang red note sa loob ng Monte Carlo High. Ibig sabihin, talagang andito na siya at dito naman tinutuloy ang ginagawa niyang pag-patay. It only meant one thing. Ako talaga ang habol ng hayop na iyon! I stood up and punched my closet in frustration. I rested my head on it's door and closed my eyes.

"Sino ka ba talaga? Ano ba'ng kailangan mo?" I opened my eyes and looked up the ceiling. "Ako ang kailangan mo?! Puntahan mo ako dito, patayin mo na ako! Ako na lang! Huwag ka na mandamay ng iba! Magpakita ka sa akin!" I let out a scream and kicked my closet.

"Dawn!" Rachel entered the room carrying two paper bags of food. Agad niyang inilapag ang mga dala at lumapit sa akin. Hinawakan niya ang mga kamay ko at saka ko lang nakita na dumugo pala ang kamao ko. "What the hell are you doing?"

Napaupo na lang ako sa kama at nakita kong lumakad siya papunta sa banyo. Bumalik siya bitbit ang first aid kit namin. Kinuha niya ang kamay ko at sinimulan itong gamutin.

"Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko, Rachel." I then let out a long sigh. "All these killings... All the students who died... Bakit hindi ko ma-solve ito? I want to... I want to help them, I want to end this!" I felt the gauze being wrapped around my knuckles and Rachel secured it in place.

"Dawn, don't be too frustrated about it. Remember when I was so frustrated about Maecy's case? Hindi ko din alam kung anong gagawin ko, kasi gusto ko nang mahuli agad si Sir Julio. Pero anong sabi mo? Everything will fall into place."

"I want to take that advice, kaya lang...Feeling ko, I'm running out of time. Parang--"

Naputol ang kung anumang sasabihin ko nang umalingawngaw na naman ang sirena ng mobile sa baba. We went out of the room at andun na rin ang ibang mga estudyante.

"Students of Monte Carlo, this is Principal Abad speaking. Due to the recent events in our campus, I declare the school year to end earlier. Letters were already sent to your parents and guardians for notification."

Agad nag-bulungan ang mga estudyante. Mapapa-aga ang end ng school year, ibig sabihin... Aalis na kami dito ng maaga. Alam kong dapat masaya ang magiging reaksyon ko, pero bakit parang hindi ako masaya na makakaalis na ako sa lugar na ito? Bakit parang may dapat pa akong gawin para matahimik ako bago ko iwan ang lugar na ito for the school year? Iniisip ko pa rin ang mga kaso...

"For the Seniors, graduation ceremonies will be in two weeks. For the others, end of school year will be by the end of this week. That's all for today."

"What? This weekend na?"

"Siguro dahil natatakot silang..."

"Yes! Makaka-alis na rin tayo..."

I was still taking in what the Principal just announced. Isang linggo. Isang linggo na lang ang meron ako bago ako sunduin dito ni Tita Rika. May magagawa ba ako sa isang linggo?
