41. A little longer

Another long car ride had passed, Zach unknowing of where they were going. Of course, as expected, he had been asleep on Jack's shoulder for more or less the majority of the ride.

Jack didn't mind. He enjoyed watching him sleep. He always looked so peaceful and soft. A soft smile crossed Jack's face.

"We're here" the driver suddenly announced, startling Jack. He looked out of the window and, sure enough, he was at the place where it had all began.

"Thank you" Jack nodded before handing him some money. The driver exited the car and walked round to open the back door for him and a still sleeping Zach. Jack exited the car before leaning back in to scoop Zach up in his arms and lifting him out.

The driver went to the trunk and opened it, lifting out their bags and taking them over to Jack. He helped Jack skilfully take the bags without waking or dropping Zach. "Have a good stay" the driver whispered with a smile, cautious of stirring the sleeping boy. Jack smiled and nodded, indicating his appreciation towards the kind man.

Jack looked in front of him as he heard a car drive away in the distance. He took in the sight of the place he had missed so much. The little English hotel, in the middle of nowhere. The place where it had all begun.

Suddenly, Zach shifted in Jack's arms. He was beginning to wake. "Hey baby" Jack cooed, kissing Zach's forehead. "Hnnn" Zach hummed. Zach sleeping brought a hand to his face and rubbed his eye, opening it. "Where are we Jack?" He asked, looking around. Suddenly he realised where they were, and his whole face lit up. He leaped out of Jack's arms And stood upright.

"Oh my gosh Jack, we're back here! I can't believe we're back!" Zach exclaimed happily. Jack chuckled. But- what are we doing here?" He questioned, a look of happy confusion playing on his face.

Jack only shrugged, walking up to the hotel holding their bags. A devilish grin played on his face. Zach followed him in, jokingly rolling his eyes.

Jack was greeted by the familiar blonde lady at the front desk. "Hello Mr. Avery" the woman greeted warmly. "Your room reservation is ready, and your special request has been followed" the blonde informed.  She discreetly winked at Jack, a playful smile on her face. She leaned in towards him slightly. "By that I mean everything is ready and has been orchestrated how you requested it" She whispered. Jack chuckled and nodded. "Thank you" he responded.

Zach's curiosity grew as he watched the discreet and secretive interaction that played out before him. He walked over to Jack and slipped an arm around his waist. "What's going on?" Zach whispered into his ear. "Just wait, it's gonna be epic" Jack replied, grinning.

"The Avery's are here!" The blonde woman shouted out. She waited for a response, but got none. "Oh for goodness sake, I gave one request. Excuse me for a moment, I'll be right back." She scurried off behind into another room.

"Hmm, the Avery's" Jack teased, wrapping an arm around Zach's shoulders. "I like the sound of that" he whispered into Zach's ear. "Stop it" Zach mumbled, his cheeks tinting red as he grinned ear to ear. "I'm not even gonna question anything that's happened so far" Zach began. "But tell me, why are we here??" He asked, inquisitive.

Jack cleared his throat. "So you know how I said I think we should wait until we have sex-"
"Jack, do we really need to have this conversation here??" Zach asked, interrupting him and preventing him from finishing his sentence. He turned his head to look left and right, hoping no one had overheard.
Jack only chuckled, kissing Zach's cheek. He couldn't help but find Zach so adorable when he was embarrassed or flustered.

Finally, the blonde woman returned with a trail of staff members following behind her. Two came and took Jack and Zach's luggage. Befkrr they left with their bags, they sat Zach down on a chair while Jack went and joined the staff. Each of the other staff members held a single rose, and one of them held a guitar. They one by one walked to Zach and handed him a rose, which soon mounted to a bouquet. The guitar was handed to Jack, who lightly began to strum on it, a massive grin on his face.

"Oh my god no Jack this is so cheesy and embarrassing" Zach laughed, jokingly hiding his face behind the bunch of roses he had been given.

In the backround, the staff members swayed. Zach wanted to die right there watching the scene play out in front of him, but at the same time he couldn't look away. His heart swelled with love and adoration for his goofy loveable boyfriend. He couldnt've asked for a better person to love.

"The first time, ever i saw your face"

Zach's heart stopped. He couldn't believe it. Jack was perfect. He knew that this was the beautiful song that summed up the beautiful feelings they felt for each other. The feelings of love that they had both been drawn to from the very first time they saw each other. Zach's eyes interlocked with his boyfriend's as he listened to his beautiful voice.

"I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and the stars

Jack's last word came out quiet. He was getting very emotional. He continued strumming as he began to tear up.

Jack shot Zach a weak smile as he lightly chuckled, raising a hand to wipe his tears.

I felt your heart so close to mine
And i knew our joy
Would fill the earth
And last, til the end of time
My love"

Behind Jack, the members of staff began to applaud. Zach stood up and wiped away his streaming tears, before running over to his boyfriend planting a kiss on his soft lips. The staff all cheered and clapped. Jack and Zach pulled away, laughing. They were both emotional, wiping away their tears.

"That was beautiful" Zac breathed out. He reached out and held Jack's hand. "I love you." 

I played this song and cried while I wrote this. Anyways... who's p.o.v. do you want the next chapter to be in? Who do you want emotional insight into? It's a very important chapter. I guess you could say a first for many...
