Chapter 33

PART 1

JACOB BLACK

My heart swelled with joy, to say the least, as I held my wife close to my chest as we walked down the isle together, man and wife. Cameras still went 'click, click, click' and there was clapping, crying, laughing, and a hell of a lot of smiling. Renesmee was flawless, my family was here, hers too, and all was right at the moment.

I was more than elated, more than happy, more than anything in the world - I was feeling like a divine God, possibly Zeus, though I was no Olympian. But I felt like I was; the pure joy was more than I was expecting, but I was more than everything I wanted.

At the end of the white satin sheet, or carpet, I wasn't sure; friends and family began moving out the door at Alice's urging. We stood there, awaiting the arrival of our parents who would surely run and grab us in mere moments - how right was I..

Esme, Edward, Bella, Emmett and my father were beside us in an instance - Rachel, Rebecca, and Renesmee's family not trailing far behind. They looked utterly joyful; my family had tears streaming down their faces, and Renesmee's, well, didn't.

Her adopted sister, Rachel, was no where in sight though. That worried me, and my stomach moved in scared twisted circles. I was utterly elated, sure, but that feeling that something bad would happen was surely creeping back inside of me. Edward looked at me, and then whispered to Emmett. He got Jasper, and they ran from the room. I gulped heavily, sending Edward a sideways glance. "Something bad?" I questioned in my mind, and he nodded. "Should we do something?" he shook his head, but his face said he wanted to explain it. "I can't talk to you right now about this, because of Renesmee. Later?" he nodded and sighed."Is it Taylor?" I asked in my mind to him once more, my thought taking on an angry tone. I tried to calm myself as best I could.

And if I hadn't know any better, the vampire before me turned more pale then he already was, and an angered expression was on his face. "Yes." he hissed, so low Renesmee couldn't hear it, and he left the room in a flash. Renesmee was talking to Esme, so she didn't know anything was wrong or going on. I smiled, fake as ever, and glanced at Bella. Her face was another odd pale color - a color vampires didn't usually have. We shared a moment of eye contact, and I could tell she was worried beyone belief; she had no idea what was going on, but her daughter had walked down the isle not ten minutes before, and she couldn't leave her; she didn't want to leave her.

"I love you." Renesmee whispered to me, holding my arm tight as she could. I smiled at her, stroking the soft skin exposed by her wrist. "I love you too." I said, my voice sounded normal. "Shall we?" I questioned, with a cue from Alice for us to finally walk outside. Many camera's were held up and ready to click as we stepped outside. Renesmee strode elegantly beside me as we walked out the double doors leading to the backyard, where everyone was gathered. My wife smiled up at me, and I down at her. Camera's clicked with a fierce intensity.

PART 2

RACHEL CULLEN

Taylor ran quickly, the trees passing by as giant blurs of brown and green. I was crying, my face red with tears streaming down my cheeks. I'd given up on screaming for help, we were moving too fast for anyone to do anything. We'd been running for a half hour, with no sign of stopping anytime soon. "Taylor." I whispered rather quietly, "Don't do this. Don't hurt Blair." I cried out quietly as my hair got caught on a low branch; strands ripped out. At least it was a trail for the Cullens' to find me by.

"I'm not hurting Blair." his words were curt, fierce, like he was angry. "Blair will be hurt when the Cullen's kill you to save me."

I knew THAT made him very mad, before he knew it himself. He stopped, skidding to a halt, and tossing me off of his back, into a tree. My leg snapped, broken.

He frowned, pausing for a moment, and walked over to me. I was crying, clutching my leg to my body. It had broken, it had broken in more then one piece. The bone stuck out below my knee. "Now, you wouldn't believe me if I told you I didn't mean to do THAT, but I really didn't." He said quickly, glancing at my knee. I knew the scent of my blood might be getting to him. "And you probably won't believe me when I tell you that I don't intend on drinking from you, or even killing you. At least I didn't before.." He added, his voice quite sinister. He frowned, and picked me up. "And I know you won't believe me when I say I'm sorry." I sighed, through the pain, and said "No." with my teeth clenched. I wimpered every time he jostled me, crying out when the pain became unbearable, and sighed when it subsided even the slightest bit. I was thankful he was being kinder to me now, but I wasn't sure how I felt about him holding me so close to his chest, his continuous kisses behind my ear. It was making me uncomfortable, and I wasn't sure how I was supposed to tell him that.

PART 3

EDWARD CULLEN

"Carlisle, it's inevitable. We're going to have to kill him now." I said as we ran, following the scent. I felt horrible about leaving Renesmee, and I'm sure she was no idea I've left yet. Or Bella, she's just as clueless.. But I know that Renesmee would have rather me save her sister then sit there and do nothing. "I wish there was another way." Carlisle replied, and I sighed. "I do too, but he's done so much already. We have to do it. Emmett and Jasper are sure to be on there way behind us, and I'm sure Jake will send some of the pack, too. He's just trying to stay in his.. Skin, I suppose you could say, for Renesmee." Carlisle nodded and we quickened are pace. The trail was fresh, Rachel and Taylor's scent both very strong.

"Edward," Carlisle called me in his mind, "How did this even happen? Do you know why? Taylor was supposed to be good.."

I sighed, "I'm not sure. I really do believe this is Blair's doing, though. I just know it. She's trying to ruin our family by using Taylor. By manipulating him everyway she can, and we can't protect her anymore. We can't claim that it's a lie, what Taylor tells us. But we don't know where Blair is, so we've got to go after Taylor. It's probably what she wants, to leave Bella and Renesmee on their own. But that's impossible, had she not known the pack was there? Had she not known we had our allies from many years ago that would surely back us up? Had she not.." I went on with my feelings, Carlisle just listened and nodded as I went along. We got along so well, he would comment on my feelings and I his, but in an intelligent way, without beating around the bush.

We ran for an hour, and an hour into our running, I heard Alice in my head, freaking out, yelling and screaming. I stopped, Carlisle a few feet later. "Alice?" I called aloud, and I heard her yelling to me, out loud this time. "Edward! It's a trap! It's the Volturi! Taylor and Blair are in on it! EDWARD!" She was screaming, scared and angered. "Why? How? What!" I replied, not sure what to think. She went over it in her mind. "Rachel knows." Carlisle said softly, calm as he always was in any situation. "Rachel knows were vampires, and Blair has let us down."
