Yesterday, August 1st, was my birthday! So I decided I'd just upload for you today? That makes no sense, but it's my reason. Enjoy?

Oh, and..

Cool. So fans, we need to have a little chat, yes? It's wonderful that you wish I'd upload. Makes me feel great, that you want to read what I'm writing. HOWEVER, do not threaten to kill me because that is completely uncalled for, and quite rude. Understand? Sweet! Thanks.

Oh, and.. Did you miss me? ;)

Chapter 38

Jacob Black

Renesmee was still asleep when I opened my eyes. The room was dark, meaning that night had officially fallen. Our sleep/wake schedule was completely out of wack. After the failed attempt at lunch yesterday, we came home still hungry. Renesmee and I laid in bed for a while, just enjoying each others company, until we both fell asleep. My stomach growled. I was starving, and I was sureRenesmee was too. I just didn't want to wake her up.

I pulled the covers off of my body, and pushed off of the bed slowly, so I didn't jostle the sleeping beauty. The clock said 6:45, blinking into different colours. I sighed, pulling on a pair of sweat pants.Renesmee stirred in the bed. I turned back towards the door, and walked forward.

"Jacob?" Renesmee whispered sleepily, sitting up in bed. I turned back, smiled, and slid in bed beside her. She yawned, looking adorable yet sleepy. I slid my arms under her, pulling her onto my lap.  She smiled at me, leaning heavily on my left bicep. "Jake I'm still hungry.." She admitted, and her stomach growled for the extra emphasis. We both laughed.

"I was thinking the same thing a minute ago. Why don't we get dressed up, and go out somewhere nice?  It's Tortonto, there's gotta be some places to go in the city that are nice." Renesmee nodded, agreeing, and closed her eyes. She wasn't tired, I could tell, just still lazy. "Let's go outside for a second." I said, laughing, and stood up with Renesmee in my arms.

"Jake!" she laughed, trying to pull herself out of my vice-tight grip. "Jake no! There's snow out there! I'm naked!" she was still laughing as I pulled open the door. She was right, there was snow, and a lot of it. I fell into the snow, Renesmee in my arms. She squeeled. "Jacob Black, let go of me!" she tried to say this firmly, but was laughing too hard for me to take her seriously. Nonetheless, I let her go as I rolled around in the ice. She ran back inside, standing at the door. I smiled.

"Awake now?" I shouted, and she turned away, laughing. I rolled around in the snow for a few minutes, until it all melted around me. My hair was soaking wet with ice cold water.

Only when Renesmee and I were finally dressed and showered, did  I look online to see where there was to go out in Toronto. Renesmee was still a little off from the incident earlier in the day, so I was quite keen on selecting a fancier restaurant where nothing bad was sure to happen.

"Nota Bene.. That's where we'll go." I declared as I closed the laptop, turning to look at Renesmee. My breath caught. "What.." Renesmee smiled at me as I fumbled for words. She sidestepped to the left, and leaned against the wall. She was wearing a tight blue dress; it fitted her perfectly, hugging every curve. She wore the classic black pumps on her feet. Her legs were long and beautiful. I almost suggested we just hunt for a bit, and come back to the house, because now I was a different kind of hungry.
