"So you're telling me that you had a crush on your English teacher when you were in sixth grade?!" Julie holds her stomach as she laughs.

"Well she was really young and hot, if I had a picture I would show you, then you wouldn't be judging me right now." I roll my eyes.

"No, Carlos, I'd still be judging you. You were twelve and she was like what, twenty?"

  "She was really pretty okay?"

"Did you ever have a crush on anyone your own age?"

"Yeah," I say in a 'duh' tone.

"I mean in sixth grade." I'm silent for a moment.

"No." I say quietly as I put another fry in my mouth. She bursts out laughing again and I can't help but laugh with her.

"Ok, I'm done eating now." She says as she stands up.

"You barely ate any of your food." I point out looking at her pizza and fries she barely touched.

"I'm not hungry today." She shrugs.

  "How come?"

  "I don't know."

"Well then can I at least have your fries?"

"Sure," She hands me her cup of delicious fries and I smile.

"See ya." She starts walking to the trash can.

  "Can't you wait for me?"

"No, I have to..." she thinks for a minute. "I don't know, I just have to get away from you before you kill anymore of my brain cells." I roll my eyes as I continue eating.

  That Julie is really something.

"Hello. Carlos, right?" I look up and see Cynthia sit across from me at the table.

"Yes," I say with a brow raised in curiosity.

"Well I'm Cynthia, Julie's friend." She holds out her hand.

"Really? You and Julie are friends?" I ask shocked.

"Yes, we've been best friends since freshmen year." She nods proudly.

"Oh, well she never told me anything about you."

"Oh." She says blankly. "Well she hasn't told me anything about you either." I nod. "So how do you know Luc- I mean Julie. How do you know Julie?"

"I'm her boyfriend." I smirk, knowing how Julie would react if she were here. Cynthia's eyes go wide and her jaw drops.

"Y-you and Julie are dating?!" She shouts. "But how... how did she end up with you?"

"I don't know." I shrug.

"S-so how long have you two been together?"

"Um, almost... two weeks. After this week it'll be two weeks."

  "How did you meet?"

"Long story," she stares at me waiting for me to continue, but I don't and just eat my food, enjoying the jealous look on her face.

  "Are you two serious?"

  "Yeah, I'd say so."

"Good for you." She flashes me a fake smile. She looks behind her for a quick second before turning back to me. "Could you meet me at the science room at the end of the day? I want to show you something."

  "Sure." I nod.

"Thanks." She winks at me before leaving.

I wonder how many times I'll have to slam her face into a locker to get all that makeup off?
