Connor came out of the portal.
Then the portal closed behind him.
However suddenly he forgot all about what had happened.
He was back outside in the night while it was snowing.
Connor noticed his software instability decreased but couldn't find the reason why.
The next day Connor and Hank were sent to the Stratford tower because some deviants infiltrated it and one without it's skin requested a list for equal rights for androids.
The lift they were in stopped on the 79th floor.
When they came out a police officer greeted them.
"Hi Hank"
"what's going on here?" Hank said. "There was a party and nobody told me about it?"
"Yea it's all over the news" The police officer replied. "So everybody's butting their nose in, even the FBI wants a piece of the action"
"Ah Christ, now we got the Feds back" Hank said. "I knew this was going to be a bad day"
"So what have we got?" Hank asked.
"A group of 4 androids" The police officer replied. "They knew the building and they were very well organised"
"I'm still trying to figure out how they got this far without being noticed" The police officer continued saying.
"You check the roof?" Another police officer asked.
"Not yet" The police officer replied. "There's so much to look at"
The 3 of them started to walk down the hallway.
"They attacked two guards in the hallway" The police officer said. "They probably thought the androids were coming to do maintenance"
"They got taken down before they could react" The police officer said and looked back at Connor and Hank.
He then looked forward again.
They went through a door way to another part of the hallway.
"One of the station employees managed to get away" The police officer said. "He's in shock, not sure when we'll be able to talk to him"
"How many people were working here?" Hank asked.
"Just two employees and three androids" The police officer replied. "The deviants took the humans hostage and broadcast their message live, they made there getaway from the roof"
"The roof?" Hank asked.
"Yea they jumped with parachutes...we're still trying to figure out where they landed, but the weather is not helping" The police officer replied.
"If you want to take a look at the video broadcast by the deviants" The police officer said. "It's on that screen over there" The police officer pointed to another big room with a screen on with a frozen picture of an android without it's skin on.
They went into the room and saw a man looking at the screen.
"Oh lieutenant, this is special agent Perkins from the FBI" the police officer said.
Perkins and Hank looked at each other.
"Lieutenant Anderson is in charge of the investigation for Detroit police" The police officer introduced Hank.
"What's that?" Perkins asked and looked at Connor.
"My name is Connor" Connor said. "I'm the android sent by Cyberlife"
"Androids investigating androids, huh" Perkins said.
"You sure you want an android hanging around?" Perkins asked. "After everything what happened"
Hank glared at Perkins.
"Whatever" Perkins said. "The FBI will be taking over the investigation, you'll soon be off the case"
"Pleasure meeting you, have a nice day" Hank replied.
"And you watch your step" Perkins said. "Don't mess up my crime scene"
Perkins then walked away.
"I'll be near by, if you need anything just ask" The police officer said and also walked away.
"Let's look around" Hank said. "Let me know if you find anything" Then Hank walked away.
"Ok lieutenant" Connor replied.
Connor checked the Cameras on a table and saw when the deviants were outside the door.
However he saw that they didn't brake in and no one reported them.
"They didn't break in?" Connor asked the police officer behind him.
"No, no signs of forced entry" The police officer replied.
"There are cameras in the hallway" Connor said. "The staff would have seen what was happening"
"Why did they let them in?" Connor asked.
"Maybe they didn't check the cameras" Hank replied.
Connor then walked to a wall near the door leading to the hallway they just came in and looked at some bullet shots.
He analysed it to find it was from a Calibre: 457 and it was a handgun.
Connor walked into a storage closest to find 3 identical androids line up behind some tables and chairs.
Connor walked up to them and stood in front of them.
Connor started to integrate them.
"State your model" Connor said to the Android on the right.
"Model JB300, serial number 336 445 581" The android replied.
"What is your function?" Connor asked the android in the middle.
"I am a broadcast operator" The android replied.
"Have you been in contact with any other androids recently?" Connor asked the android on the left.
"Only station androids in the normal course of my function" The android replied.
"Were you present when the deviants broke in?" Connor asked the android on the right.
"I do not remember" The android replied.
"Has anyone accessed your memory recently?" Connor asked the android in the middle.
"Not to my knowledge" The android replied.
Connor noticed out of the corner of his eye that the android on the left was looking at him and when he looked at it, it looked away.
Connor walked in front of it.
"One of you saw the attack on the surveillance cameras and said nothing" Connor said. "Which means there is a deviant in this room"
"And I'm going to find out which it is" Connor said and backed away from the android on the left and stood in front of all of them again.
Connor walked to the android on the right.
"If you give yourself up, maybe I can convince the humans not to destroy you" Connor said.
He walked back in front of them.
Connor walked back in front of the android on the left.
"Why should all of you be destroyed if only one is deviant?" Connor asked.
"Turn yourself in or two innocent androids will be shut down because of you" Connor demanded.
The android on the left grabbed Connor and threw him against the counter next to the wall.
It ripped out a biocomponent out of Connor and threw it on the ground.
It the grabbed a knife off of a table and stabbed Connor's left hand down on the table.
Connor had one minute before he shut down.
The deviant then left the room.
Connor grabbed the knife and yanked it out of his hand which made him fall onto the floor.
Connor crawled to the biocomponent and put it in him.
He got up and ran out of the room into the hallway.
He turned right to got to the entrance and saw the deviant walking to the entrance.
Police officers and soldiers were in the hallway, including Hank.
Connor ran in.
"It's a deviant, stop it!" Connor yelled.
Hank and a police officer ran to it.
The deviant kicked a soldier over and grabbed his gun.
Connor quickly grabbed a gun off of a police officer and shot it multiple times in the head before it could kill anyone.
It then powered down and knelt on the floor.
Connor gave the police officer his gun back.
"Nice shot Connor" Hank said.
"I wanted it alive" Connor replied.
"You saved...human lives, you saved my life" Hank said.
Connor looked at him and walked over to the deviant and checked it.
His status with Hank was now...
...friend.
