Chapter 33 - Escaping

The Doctor, Anakin, Connor, Agent J and Cade were now running up the stairs.
The others had already evacuated the base out of the massive hole in the wall in the hanger.
They had now passed the whole in the wall were the lift was trapped and ran up another set of stairs.
The Doctor looked at his watch on his wrist.
"We have four minutes left!" The Doctor shouted.
They ran up some more stairs passing another room with lifts.
The 4 of them came up to a locked door.
The Doctor used his sonic screwdriver on the key pad next to the door however the sonic screwdriver suddenly turned off.
"Not now" The Doctor muttered to himself.
Anakin activated his lightsaber to cut down the door but it suddenly shut off.
"What?" Anakin questioned.
Cade and Connor tried firing their guns at the key pad but they didn't shoot any bullet or laser.
"It must be the nuclear power affecting out weapons" The Doctor said.
"How are we supposed to get out then?" Agent J asked.
They heard a lift door open so they turned around.
Anakin had opened a lift door and was now leaning out of it.
"We could always use the lift" Anakin said smugly.
The others followed Anakin into the lift and started to ascend to the higher levels.
They quickly got out of the lift.
The Doctor looked at his watch again.
"2 minutes left!" The Doctor shouted.
Once they got to the entrance they ran out and started to run up the hill.
When they got to the top they stopped running and turned around and faced the base.
The base started to shake violently and then started to glow pink.
Then the base suddenly vanished into thin air like the base was never there.
"There goes dark Zabrina" Anakin said.
"We should meet up with the others" Connor suggested.
"He's right" Agent J commented.
