Chapter 2 - Anakin Skywalker

It was another day in the Jedi temple.
Anakin with the help of Obi-wan had rescued the Chancellor from the Separatists.
Anakin and the Chancellor had come out of the ship to be greeted by Mace Windu and the other politicians.
Anakin realised Obi wan was not coming and turned around to see him standing in the entrance of the ship.
"Aren't you coming master?" Anakin got Obi wan's attention.
"Oh no I'm not brave enough for politics" Obi wan joked.
Anakin looked at obi wan in an not impressed way.
"I have to report to the council" Obi wan continued saying. "Besides someone needs to be the poster boy"
Anakin pointed to Obi wan "Hold on" Anakin looked around and back to him "this whole operation was your idea"
"Lets us not forget Anakin that you rescued me from the buzz droids and you killed count dooku and you rescued the chancellor carrying me unconscious on your back".
Anakin smiled at Obi wan.
"All because of your training".
Obi wan raised a hand up to Anakin "Anakin lets be fair today you were the hero and you deserve your glorious day with the politicians" Obi wan held a hand up to where the politicians were.
Anakin looked at Obi wan "Alright but you owe me one and not for saving your skin for the 10th time"
"9th time that business on Katamoria doesn't doesn't count" obi wan said while shaking his hand in the air.
"I'll see you at the briefing" Obi wan said while he walked into the ship as the doors closed while Anakin walked off with R2.
A day later Anakin was with the Jedi council.
Obi wan had come back.
"Your on this council be we do not grant you the rank of master" Mace Windu said.
Anakin looked at Mace Windu in disgust.
"What?!" Is all said.
Anakin looked around.
"How can you do this...this is outrageous...it's unfair...how can you be on the council and not be a master!" Anakin yelled.
Mace Windu held out his hand "take a seat young Skywalker"
Anakin bowd "Forgive me master" and he walked back and sat in his seat.
Afterwards Anakin and Obi wan were walking together.
"What kind of nonsense is this?! Anakin said "Put me on the council and not make me a master it never been done in the history of the Jedi its insulting!"
Anakin looked at obi wan
"Oh calm down anakin you have been giving a great honour" Obi wan looked at Anakin.
They both stopped walking as Obi wan said "to be on the council at your age it's never happened before"
"The fact on the matter is that you are too close to the chancellor" obi wan said while crossing his arms.
"The council doesn't like it when he interferes with Jedi affairs"
Anakin said back "I swear to you that I didn't ask to be put on the council"
Obi wan replied "But it's what you wanted your friend ship with Palpateen has seemed to have paid off".
They kept on walking.
Anakin looked at obi wan "He has nothing to do with this"
Obi wan looked back at Anakin.
"The only reason the council has approved your appointment is because the chancellor trusts you..."
"And...?" Anakin said.
"Anakin I'm on your side I didn't want to put you in this situation"
"What situation?" Anakin demanded.
They both stoped walking and stood in front of a big window.
"The council wants you to report on all the chancellors dealings...they want to know what he's up to"
"They want me to spy on the chancellor?" Anakin said.
They both walked to another window.
"That's treason!"
Obi wan looked up at him.
"We are at war Anakin'' obi wan told him.
Anakin looked at Obi wan "why didn't the council give me this assignment when we where in session?"
"This assignment is not to be on record" Obi wan told him.
"The chancellor is not a bad man Obi wan he befriended me he has watch out for me ever since I arrived here"
"That is why you must help us...Anakin our allegiance is to the senate not to it's leader who has managed to stay in office long after his term has expired"
"The senate demanded that he stay longer"
"Yes but use your feelings Anakin something is out of place''
"Your asking me to do something against the Jedi code, against the republic, against a mentor and against a friend that's what's out of place here." Anakin said walking towards the window and looking at Obi wan.
"Why are you asking this of me?!" Anakin demanded.
"The council is asking this of you" Obi wan said.
A while later Anakin was left standing there.
He was angry at the council for denying him the rank of master but also because they want him to spy on the chancellor who was a close friend to him.
A while of thinking Anakin walked out of the Jedi temple to clear his mind.
A minute after standing outside Anakin felt a disturbance in the force.
It's was powerful and weird.
He sense it and quickly looked to his right just as a beam of energy appeared.
Anakin used the force to pull his lightsaber into his hands and activated it.
However he dropped it as he fell to the ground getting pulled towards the beam.
Again he forced his lightsaber into his hands and activated it and swung at the beam while on the ground but it didn't do anything.
"NO!" Anakin yelled in frustration as he gripped onto one of the pillars outside.
He used his robotic arm to stay gripping onto the pillar but for some reason the beam of energy got stronger and yanked him off.
He grabbed his lightsaber as he was pulled into the beam of light.
