While walking in the streets, the thought of home is still lingering my mind. I can't seem to concentrate on the mission I have here. "God, help me. I don't know where I am." I called on to Him. There is nowhere to go. I am stuck with the painful past of dad and Mr. Kelly and I do not know how long will I have to see their lives in anguish.

What I can take here is that it is really difficult to lose someone that you love, whether it be someone who loves you so much from the beginning or someone whom you despise when you were a child but actually cares for you from far away. I miss my family.

"Yes, Janice?" I heard a whisper.

"Lord, I am confused. Really." I told God honestly. "If I am dead, why do I have to see the past painful lives of dad and Mr. Kelly?"

"You will see, Janice." God murmured and His deep voice faded. "Be patient."

"Yes, Lord. I'm sorry for my impatience. It's just that I miss my family back home." I didn't expect an answer. I was just having my reason to bring me back in a peaceful life.

After minutes of walking, I saw a park bench. Finally, something to sit on. I sat there and watched the children play. "Riley." I thought.

After a second, a dusty wind swept my hair and I can't even see. "What is that?" I thought.

"Hey, Janice." I looked up to see who it was but hearing the voice, clearly it wasn't God.

"Janice, it's me." The voice exclaimed as he touched my shoulder.

I rubbed my eyes to see the man I saw the man whom I saw after Ooi left his parents. "Hey, you are the one who asked me if I'm okay, right?" I asked. "I mean you appeared after Ooi left his parents?"

"Yes, I am." He said in a proud voice.

"Who are you? I mean you are not God, are you?" I moved around, inspecting every detail of him. He looked so dashing and perfect. I mean, his looks were out of this world beautiful.

He frowned. "I am not."

I was surprised. "But I can be." He declared to my face with a creepy voice.

I was shocked and I ran as fast as I could. He was following me. And I felt him clearly catching up. I was in panic. "The portal? Where is the portal?"

I looked back and as soon as my eyes saw him a shadow of darkness was coming to eat me up. I shouted help and found myself thrown in the floor.

"Oh no! Where is he? Where is he?" I looked around and saw that I was in my grandma's house. The portal was on time. Really right on time.

Wooo! That was quite a run, Janice.

But what am I doing here, again?

A woman opened the door and I saw her eyes. She caught my eye and she was going to my direction. I closed my eyes in fear as her hand got through my body. I mean, my spirit.

I sighed. I thought she was going to hunt me too.

The woman was familiar when I took a closer look on her. She was Aunt Becca, grandma's sister.

"Glenda! Glenda!" She called on grandma. She was holding a picture of a baby. I don't know who it is but I am determined to know is it dad?

"Glenda!"

"Yes, Becca?! Can you just wait I'm looking for something." Grandma shouted from upstairs.

"Okay, I'll come up now."

We found grandma's room full of papers. "Are you loking for your cute son's picture?" She handed the baby photo to grandma. Grandma just looked at it. "No! I was the one who found that earlier. I am looking for something with it."

"What something? Let me help you, I'm on my break today." Aunt Becca insisted and pretended to look for some papers inside a box.

"Becca, okay. If you really want to help, find a birth certificate that has the name Jacob Melbourne." Grandma exclaimed. She seems anxious. "Becca? Can you help?"

As she looks on aunt, aunt was stunned. "Did you just.. Jacob? Your son?"

"Yes, that is Jacob. Becca? Not now please." Grandma brought out a pile of papers from a box.

"Glen, after all these years?" Aunt Becca asked.

I am confused but listening.

"Becc, I know. But I need to find him. Joseph and Jacob are the only ones that can make me not insane right now. They are my sons." Grandma revealed.

Wait, what?! Did I just hear that there is.. there is.. grandma has another son? Dad has a brother? Did he die? Why is grandma searching for a birth certificate.

Wait, no! All I thought dad is an only child. Grandma never told us about his other son. Well, I think I remember one instance where we were talking one evening about mom wanting to have a baby boy. Grandma was silent all over the talk and she wanted to sleep right away two hours before her usual bedtime. Well, that was the only thing I can think of rlated to what I just heard. But all I thought that was just because grandma is tired?

"Please? Sister?" Grandma pleaded as she placed a pile of papers in front of aunt. She nodded and they searched for it. I wanted to put my hands on the papers but I can't. All I have to do is to wait and see that birth certificate myself.

"Glenda!" Aunt Becca yelled and raised a piece of paper to clearly see the writings in a good lighting. "This is it!"

I rushed to see a proof. I was surprised.

It was really written, Jacob Melbourne.
