I continued to walk and I realized that I am going uphill. I can see no signs but I feel like my feet is walking towards up. Am I almost at the peak? I can see the portal from my position and I am off to go there. I'm almost there.

An angel came down and stopped my tracks. I recognized it was Michael.

"Before anything else Janice, make sure you are ready." He declared.

"I can't deny that I'm really nervous but I know God will be with me." I exclaimed.

"The road going there will be long and rough. So, always keep your composure. Hold on to God's Word." He advised.

"I can see it from here. What do you mean long?" I asked.

"The devil will try hard to trick you. Now, you need to wear that armour of yours with faith." He said.

"He won't really stop, will he?" I chuckled.

"Don't laugh because he is a master tricker." He exclaimed. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy."

"But Jesus came that we may have life and have it to the full. It was John 10:10 if I am not mistaken." I said asking for a confirmation.

Michael nodded yes. "God wants you to finish this course. It is now time for you to walk again."

"I'll be ready." I nooded.

"May God give you everything you need to finish this course, Janice." Michael rose up and faded.

As soon as he left, I know I have to get ready. He told me that it won't be easy and I know it. But God will always have my back.

"Janice?" God called.

"Yes, Lord." I knelt as the voice in my heart spoke clearly.

"The road may seem unclear when you start to walk. But I walk with you, not behind, not in front. I walk with you side by side." God assured me.

"Yes, Lord. I will remember that." I bowed as I stood up again. I fixed my helmet on my head. I grab the sword by my right hand and the shield on my left hand. I continued to walk.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." -Ephesians 6:12

That gave me encouragement but as a mere teenager, I shook a little.

Not after a long time, I saw the ugly creatures trying to block my way. But they were bigger this time. They look like bodyguards. They wouldn't let me pass.

"Why would you not let me pass?" I asked the too.

They wouldn't answer.

"I am a child of God, you and you let me pass." I told them.

They looked at each other and looked at me. They wouldn't answer me.

"God, what should I do? They won't let me." I thought.

The two ugly creatures grew bigger and bigger. I was horrified.

"Lord, why? They grew bigger and bigger?" I asked God.

As I continue to worry, they grew bigger and bigger with muscles and biceps and triceps.

"Look at your hands." I heard God say.

I looked at my hands. My left. My right.

"Yes, Lord. I have here a shield and a sword." I said to Him.
