"Prayer is a great weapon against evil." I thought. While I continued walking down, I realized that I am now at the bottom of the trough. The wind blurred my vision and I found myself in a place which I remember again. I kept on looking for things that may remind me where and surprisingly, I found Mrs. Kelly's picture.

Wait! Am I in Mrs. Kelly's home?

It's weird! I haven't been to her home.

After that thought, the door opened and Mrs. Kelly entered the room. She looked youthful at this time than what she usually looks in school but I can see she has worked hard for this day. I realized it was night time.

She looked at the mirror and wiped the sweat in her forehead.

"It's been a long day, Olivia!" she said to herself. "Get over it and take a nap."

A knock was heard before she raised her blanket to her shoulders. She exhaled. The door opened and it was Mr. Kelly, holding his coffee on his left hand.

Okay. I am in their home. That's why I remember this room. When Mr. Kelly adopted me, this is where I slept. But why did this look so perfectly designed than what I used to see. This room was empty back then. No decorations at all.

"Babe, I know you didn't like the way I sounded a while ago." Mr. Kelly sat on the other side of the bed and placed his coffee on the coffee table beside their bed. Mrs. Kelly was facing on the opposite side, lying.

"You know it's a decision I made back then." He continued. "I hope you understand."

Mrs. Kelly got up and sat down, facing Mr. Kelly. "That's the problem. You always want me to understand you but do you understand me?"

Mr. Kelly looked at her but he didn't respond.

"Oliver, all I wanted was to have a child. Have children. With you." Mrs. Kelly raised her voice on the last two words.

"Maybe that is just what you wanted because you are with kids all the time." He sips his coffee.

"What? Did you just blame my profession?" Mrs. Kelly asked. "Oliver, I know being a doctor was your ultimate! I mean, ultimate dream. I respect that. And you know that being a teacher is mine."

"Olivia, I didn't say that I didn't respect your ultimate dream. I know you like being a teacher." Mr. Kelly raised his voice.

Okay, they might be arguing and anytime something might show up and I gotta be with them. I stayed beside Mrs. Kelly.

"Yes, I do. And maybe you're right! I like being a teacher so much that I love the kids I teach! But when they leave after school, I feel sad. When I see them walk away to their parents, I feel glad but I feel sad at the same time. Oliver, I realized I wanted to be mother and have a kid I could call my own." Mrs. Kelly touched Mr. Kelly's arm.

"If you think, I don't understand you. You're wrong, babe." He smiled. "But give me time to think about it first." He got up and went out the room.

"Yeah, like what you always say." Mrs. Kelly whispered when Mr. Kelly went out the room completely.

There was no weird thing that showed up and I exhaled. But I can see Mrs. Kelly's desperation. Seeing her frown and feel sad is like seeing my own mother that way. Mrs. Kelly has been a great teacher to me and she has contributed many lessons in my life as a teenager. She checks up on me on school and she knows my strengths and weaknesses.

Mrs. Kelly stood up, wiping her tears and pulled out something from her finger. She opened the drawer and threw it inside. I looked at it and it was a ring. Her wedding ring. It looked beautiful. She closed the drawer and brought out a box from beside that drawer.

Wow! It was a collection of the photos of kids and students with her. Selfies and groufies. She picked out a class picture of the preschool kids she handled. They look so cute and so little. Wait! I remember a funny face at the sides. Haha it was me! I think it was when Mrs. Kelly volunteered for a free teaching class in my old old old school when I was just preschool. I see how Mrs. Kelly was happy back then and seeing her now, breaks my heart.

She put the picture back and closed the box. She got her phone and dialed a number. She cries as she walked back and forth, waiting for someone to pick the phone on the other end.

"Hello. Dad?"

I could not hear his dad's voice but I can surely hear Mrs. Kelly's.

"I give up, dad."

I was shocked. Give up?

"Yes. He gives me the same excuse over and over and when I already forget it, I know he won't."

"Yes, everyday I struggle thinking that his profession is more important to him more than me."

"Dad, can I go home?"

That broke my heart. She desperately wanted to be comforted but sadly her husband can't so she makes a move to be comforted by her family.

"Don't dad. Please don't. I'm okay." She insisted. "I just need a little space away from him."

"Sure, dad. Alright. Bye!"

She hung up the phone and placed it on the coffee table. She forced herself to sleep, tears rolling down her cheek.

I was surprised to see Mr. Kelly peeping through the door. Did he listened? Did he know?

He went downstairs and I followed him to the kitchen. He opened his laptop and sips his coffee. He closed his laptop and wrote something on a piece of paper.

What?! Talk to babe and ask her if she wants a divorce?!

He sips coffee and realized it was already empty. He kept his calm but I can see that he is bothered. He felt uncomfortable.

"When will I stop thinking of this thing?" He said to himself as he leaned on the wall.

Suddenly, a skeleton hand touches his head. What?! I tried to slash the hand but it just wouldn't break. "What should I do?" Mr. Kelly said to himself.

The skeleton appeared with creatures surrounding him like guards. I was horrified when the creatures gathered around us and the skeleton, Mr. Kelly, and I were in the center.

The skeleton whispered something to Mr. Kelly, who was covering his face and sitting in the kitchen chair. I won't let this happen again!

"Skeleton!" I called. "You have no power over him!"

I will whisper God's Word to his ears.

The creepy skeleton looked at me and tried to stop me from doing it. "You are not powerful enough for me!" He laughed.

Nothing else is powerful over the heavens and the earth. Only God.

I held the shield in front of him and the skeleton was blinded by the light. The other creatures bowed down because of the power.

Mr. Kelly was sitting with his hands grasping his hair.

Suddenly,  thunderous voice was heard which made the creatures and the skeleton fade as it says,

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
