Riker walked in
"Oh..uh..um.. sorry ill wait outside-"
"No it's ok come in"
Riker walked in not taking his eyes off of my dad sittin next to me.
"Dad this is-"
"Ryder I remember from when you were kids"
"Dad it's Riker not Ryder"
"Oh sorry about that"
"No sir it's ok"
Riker was giving dad angry glances I nudged him and whispered to him
"Riker knock it off"
"Ya know Amanda I think I should be going"
" ok bye .....dad"
He left the hospital room and now it was just me and Riker
Riker's POV
Amanda's dad left, I got up, shut the door and sat back down next to her. I was angry he shouldn't have been here
"Why was he here?"
"He just wanted to see me and apologize for everything"
"HE CAN'T APOLOGIZE FOR EVERYTHING HE'S DONE!"
"Riker-"
"NO HE'S HURT YOU IN SO MANY WAYS! HE SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SEE YOU! HE'S RUINED YOUR LIFE AND HE'S JUST GONNA CONTINUE!"
"Riker he's sober! He's not drinking anymore!"
"And how do you know that for sure?! How do you know he's just saying that or putting on some act for now! IT'S TEMPORARY HE'LL BE DRINKING IN NO TIME!"
"RIKER!" Rydel screamed from the door I never heard her come in.
"I heard yelling so I came in. Riker can I talk to you outside. Now."
Of course she wanted to talk to me another one of Rydel's famous lectures. Great.
"What the hell is wrong with you! I thought you loved her! While she was out in her coma she was all you could talk about and how much you wanted to see her now you can! First you finally kiss and tell her you love her then you go insane and scream at her-"
Wait what did she just say?
"Woah woah woah how do you know we kissed?"
"Oh um-"
"Rydel Mary Lynch how do you know and tell me the truth!"
"Um well Amanda told me"
"She what?!"
"Riker don't get mad at her I guess I kinda pressured her into tellin me that a little bit after I told her you liked her but ya know she obviously already knew-"
"Why would you tell her that?! You didn't know she knew so why would you go and tell her?!"
"Riker-"
"No rydel you don't understand"
"Understand what Riker! What is so hard in your life that no one else in the world understands? Huh? What is it? Tell me!"
