I was frozen. I didn't know what to say. He really liked me all this time?

He nodded
"Yea I'm sorry I've just been too scared to say anything. I'm sure that's why you didn't say anything either right? Because things ended so badly last time?"
I looked in his eyes and then down
" yea pretty much"
A smile grew across his face, and he started to lean in again. Could this be starting something that will turn my life back around?
