Chapter 10

I woke up and saw the clock say 11:00 am. Ahhhh a nice relaxing sleep. I stretched out and realized something. Where's Riker?

Then I smelled something amazing downstairs so I got up and walked down the stairs into the kitchen

"Do you always sleep this late?"

I laughed

"Yea usually"

"Lazy ass"

"What was that?!"

I said in a mocking tone

"Heh ..uh ... nothing "

"Sure ok Riker."

He made us waffles and bacon and we sat down and ate

"Where's everyone else?"

I asked breaking the silence

"Oh they all went to the beach I told them you weren't up yet and I didn't wanna wake you, but we can still go if you want to. or just by ourselves"

"Oh ok yea sure lets go"

"Ok I'll call them and ask them where they are. Do you need to get your swimsuit?"

"Yea"

"Ok I'll call them while we are walking to your house "

We got to my house and I ran upstairs leaving Riker downstairs

Riker's POV

Amanda went upstairs to get her swimsuit and left me here downstairs I hope her dad isn't here

"Ah Mr. Ryder right?"

This day just got better

"Um it's actually Riker sir. Riker Lynch."

"Well Mr. Lynch would you like to tell me where my daughter has been?"

"Oh well she came over yesterday and we started watching a movie and she fell asleep so she just kinda stayed over"

His eyes widened a bit. uh oh I know what he's thinking

"We didn't do anything if that's what your thinking"

"Actually that wasn't what I was thinking. I trust her. its you I don't trust."

My eyes widened

"Why?"

"Why? because I don't trust boyfriends I never have they always make their girlfriends do something they don't want or et them in trouble or even pregnant-"

"No no no sir you have it all wrong me an Amanda we are just friends nothing more..."

"Oh I see then well I still need to earn your trust Mr. Lynch no matter what you are to my daughter."

He walked out if the room as Amanda came down with a cover up on

"Ready?"

"Um.. uh .. yea. yea. "

"What? oh did you talk with my dad?"

I nodded . she laughed.

We got into the car and headed down to the beach meeting with my family and settled down

"Hey Amanda wanna go paddle boarding?"

I asked her

"Yea sure"

We walked a little down the beach and she took off her cover up. Damn.

I just kinda stared at her a little while before she saw me

"You ready?"

"Oh. yea follow me we're going somewhere special"
