Chapter 11

We started gliding across the water and thank god the place I was taking Amanda was in the direction of the current. Why I was taking Amanda here? I need to make it happen. what happened in the hospital I need to make it happen. I have to be with her. she has to be mine. and I'm gonna make it happen.

Amanda's POV

We kept paddling and there was less people the further we went down. Eventually we were far enough down that there was no one and riker started to turn towards the shore.

"Watch this" riker said so I watched

He tried to ride the paddle board in like a surfboard. oh god. we all know where this is going. He actually started to do it

"Oh yea baby woooo!" I heard riker scream

"Oh shit!" Riker screamed

"Abandon ship! abandon ship!"

And Riker flew off the paddle board

"Amanda help me! help me! I'm drowning! I'm drowning!"

Here we go. I rolled my eyes and paddled towards him.

"Yay you came to save me"

"Oh yea Riker your really drowning"

He starts to fake a cramp and falls underneath the water pretending to struggle. I rolled my eyes again and jumped in on top of him

"Hey! what gives!"

He had stood up and I was sitting on his shoulders. Riker's paddle board was all the way on shore by now

"Come on we still aren't there yet"

I sat down on the board as riker paddled us into shore. he took my hand and pulled me to the end peak of the beach and we sat down in the sand.

"I need to talk to you"

"Um okay what is it?"

"Look Amanda what happened in the hospital never really went anywhere, and I really like you. more than just friends. And I was wondering if you'd want to take this further? But I mean if you don't like me anymore than I completely understand-"

I interrupted his sentence with our lips connected. he put his hand on my neck and pulled me even closer. and this "kiss" was turning into a make out session he started to lean more forward pushing me back onto the sand. this felt so right.

Now he was on top of me and I wrapped my right leg around his waist. then I heard what sounded like. uh oh. fake coughs.

We both stopped and looked at each other before looking around to see rydel, Ross, rocky, and ryland. great.

"So uh what's going on here?"

Rocky sarcastically asked

"Um nothing"

Riker and I said at the same time.

"Sure ok. whatever floats your boat"

Ryland responded. they walked back over to the ocean kayaks they used to get down here and started to paddle back but before they were out of sight we saw rocky raising his eyebrows up and down at us.

Riker got off and helped me get up

"So is that a yes?" I giggled

"Yes"

He smiled and kissed my cheek. then we headed back to where the rest of the lynches were.

When we got back the first thing that anyone said was of course. Rocky.

"Things were getting pretty steamy down at the point between riker and Amanda hmm?"

Riker gave him the 'shut the fuck up' look, and we both started blushing like crazy

"Steamy? what were you kids doing?"

Stormie asked.

"Oh we uh both started sweating like crazy. because its so... hot. yea. hot. man it's hot right Amanda" he said covering us while fanning himself

"Oh um yea it's really hot out today"

"Oh ok then" stormie replied a little uneasy

We both gave her cheesy smiles and headed back to Riker's car. And drove us back to his house.

We got back to the Lynches Riker pulled me upstairs into his and Rocky's room
