It's been a couple of days since Riker first came in after I woke up and he's been here everyday since. I think we are kinda dating now,but it's too soon to tell. I've been excited to go home, and I heard my dad is in therapy and getting better each day. Riker thinks its because he hurt me so bad, but I don't think that's why.
"Hey"
Said someone interrupting my thoughts. I turned to see Rydel.
"Oh hey"
"Were you expecting Riker?"
She said with a smirk on her face moving her eyebrows up and down.
I giggled
"No not really but I'm sure he'll show up sometime"
"Yea he can't stop talking about you"
"About me? What's he saying?"
"Just how much he missed you and that he's glad you're okay and.... Other stuff"
"What other stuff?"
"RIKER LIKES YOU!"
"Yea Rydel I knew that" I said laughing
"What?! How did you know?"
"He told me when you guys first came to the hospital"
"Wait was that was Ross what oohing about?"
"Yea. Well kinda..."
"What. What happened. Tell me tell me!!!!!"
She was now shrieking on the top of her lungs
"Well we uh.."
" yes yes you what?"
" we kissed"
She started to shriek again
"Awwwww you guys are gonna be such a cute couple you guys are gonna date then get married and then he's gonna get you preg-
I cut her off before she could finish
"Rydel! It was just a kiss sheesh"
"Wait do you not like him back?"
"What? No of course I do I just think that.. Ya know we might not get that far."
She started to hug me now
" aw Amanda of course you will he's been in love with you for the longest time the only person who would change their mind here would be you."
A smile grew across my face
"Well trust me I'm not gonna change my mind about Riker anytime soon."
She pulled me in closer when someone knocked on the door..... Dad
"I'll leave you two" rydel walked out the door shutting it behind her
"Hi Amanda"
I could tell he was sober
"Hi.... D-dad"
"Sweetie it's ok I'm sober now I'm not gonna drink anymore I promise that I'm going to be a real father."
"Promise?"
"Yes promise"
He came over to me and gave me a kiss on the head
"I love you Mandi"
"I love you too"
Then there was another knock at the door...
