My Best friend: Riker Lynch

Chapter 4

        I woke up at 2:40 am to the sound of of glass breaking I got out of bed, and went downstairs I got into the kitchen and saw my dad breaking plates and glasses. He was swinging around the dishes everwhere "Wh-What are you doing?!" "WHAT AM I DOING WHAT ARE YOU DOING GET UPSTAIRS!" "NO! WE MADE SOME OF THESE PLATES WHEN I WAS A KID FOR MOM! YOUR  NOT GONNA RUIN THAT!" Next thing I know a plate is coming at my head like a frisbee, and then everything went black..... I woke up the next morning everything was a blur. I felt dizzy and realized there was blood everywhere, and my head was aching with pain. I slightly touched my forehead as a sharp shot of pain hit me " Ow holy shit what happened" I asked myself when I removed my hand i saw that it was covered in blood. I slowly tried to get up and looked in the mirror not remembering what had happened when everything went black again. This time I woke up on a bed and i heard what sounded like machines I opened my eyes and saw I was in a hospital room. There was a doctor standing there " why am I here?" I asked her. she didnt reply. "Hello? Im asking you a question" I layed there in shock "Im asking you a question and I expect you to answer it!" I got up and tried shaking her but it didn't work. Then I turned around and saw  myself lying there with bandages over my head and beeps going off. "Doctor her heart is failing we need to do something" the nurse pleaded that's when the steady beep went off. Is this actually happening. does this mean im dead? Im gone. But i can't be there's things i have to do, to fix! That's when i shot sitting up from my bed breathing heavy, and panicking. "I CANT BE DEAD I CANT, I CANT DIE!"  I was screaming the nurse ran over to me " Sweetie calm down your not dead or dying your alright". "What are you talking about I saw it, I saw it!" She sighed "No, no,no you have it all wrong you must have been having a nightmare, but there is some news you should know..." "I stared at her with a confused look. "Wh-What?" She sighed again "This isn't gonna be easy for you, but you have been in a coma for about 3 months, and that explains the dream you had lots of times when people go into comas they have dreams or nightmares which carries them through the time period that they are in the coma". "Wait how did I even get here?" " I dont think I should be the one to tell you". She doesnt think she should be the one to tell me? What the hell was this lady talking about? how did i get here? How could I be in a coma for 3 months! Suddenly the door swung open "Amanda!" a tall and even more attractive Riker Lynch stood in the doorway he came sprinting towards me and pulled me into a tight hug. " They called me and told me the minute you woke up are you ok?" we were still embraced in the hug "Yea I-I think so" He sighed in relief "Thank god I've been so worried about you thinking that you were never gonna wake up". I felt wet drops on my shoulder. Was he crying? About thinking he was gonna lose me? This started to make me cry too." Well I'm awake now" He let out his cute small laugh on my shoulder " I missed you" He finally said "I missed you too" In a way that was a lie to be honest during my 'dream' Riker never even occured to me it seemed like I never left his side, but when  he sprinted through the door I realized I was wrong, and that he was never with me the whole time. We finally let go of the embrace and he stared at my with tears in his eyes "What?" I asked him, and for the first time letting out a smile, and so did he "Nothing, I was just so worried, We all were". "Who's we?" he laughed " Ya know Rocky, Ross, Rydel, Ellington, Ryland, My mom & dad... Everyone really". That's when I heard loud almost like running footsteps coming down the hall "Kids slow down!  You don't want to startle her!" "NO!" a group of people said in unison when they all stopped in front of my door "AMANDA!" They all screamed I jumped a little bit, and they all pushed Riker out of the way and gave me a group hug " We missed you so much". Rydel said sobbing into my shoulder. It felt so good. It felt so good to feel loved, and to know that they  were worried about me Riker was standing in the door just smiling. "Alright one person at a time" The nurse said " Me, me ,me ,me!!" Rydel shrieked, but Stormie jumped in "How about Riker goes first". "But- He already got a turn!" Rydel pouted, and Stormie sent her a scold " Riker Honey go on" He walked in and closed the door " I don't really know what to say" He said breaking the silence "I do" He sent me a confusing look and sat down next to me "I'm sorry". " For What?" " For snapping at you in the car before I got out that one night...." "Amand-" "I know that you were just trying to help me, and before I didn't know why I couldnt except that... but now I do. Riker I told you this when we were kids, and I'm sure you'll give me the same expression you did then, but that's ok, because I think that you should know that I'm Still.... In love with you" His mouth opened a little bit, and he didn't say anything, he looked around the room and then at me, the next thing I knew  his lips were on mine and we heard a whistle from the door. It was Ross who was whistling at us "wow it's getting hot in here maybe you guys should-" "Ross that's enough" and Stormie shut the door me and Riker jjust looked at each other " It's funny 'cause I love you too" He said " But what about when we were kids?" He bit his lip " The truth is...."
