Upper Heavens
Tian Ming stood quietly as the rest of the Upper Heavens Weavers gathered around him. Unsavoury news had just arrived from the Immortal Realm, and knowing how volatile the reaction would be, Tiāntáng Sān (Heavens Three) called an emergency meeting along with the Immortls Weaver Si Ming who was not only shocked at being summoned, but he thought he was facing judgement for a misdomeanor he was unaware of.
The Weavers position in any world was a highly coveted one because it brought many privelges and one of those was increased magical abilities, a life of wealth and comfort as well as the ability to move in worlds no others of his world had access to. They took their positions seriously, as if their own lives depended it, so to be summoned to the Upper Heavens meant something dire had happened, and this was made obvious when he found himself not only next to his direct guide Tian Ming, but the entire retinue of Upper Heavens Weavers.
With his head bowed, he listened quietly as Tia Ming informed him of why he was there while they waited for Tiāntáng Sān to arrive. Time didn't move in the Upper Heavens, so he was not concerned about being missed, because he was taken out of his own world without warning. But listening in horror to an event so enormous, he could barely comprehend it.
"Is that why the palace maids left?" he asked stunned.
"We believe so, yes."
And the snow?"
"That too."
"What else has this new Weaver changed?"
"The marriage alliance between Sang Ji and Xian Nu as well as the disappearance of the entire Demon Tribe." Tian Ming informed him and to Si Mings mind, his guide had never looked more heartbroken as he did then. The pressure to find his artifacts was weighing so heavily on his mind, that he could see his energy slipping and this too was a concern, because only highly cultivated beings could reside in the Upper Heavens, it required vast sums of cultivated energy gained through untold lifetimes, so to lose ones energy through stress or anything that lowered the state of ones higher thoughts, then he could find himself thrown back into a much lower relam where he would not only lose his position as Weaver, but he would also have to relive countless more lives to work his way back up again.
"Do we have an idea of where to search?" Si Ming asked as the others began to lower themselves to their knees around him.
"That is why we are here. We may have received a vital clue." Tian Ming smiled as they too lowered themselves to their knees.
On his knees, Si Ming followed the directions of his guide. His head lowered once at a forty five degree angle, then rose again and rather than being a subservient bow to ones betters, the bow was merely one of respect which to his surpise, was returned. But he kept quiet as The Three sat down together and then to his utmost surprise, they melded to become one Deity. To Si Mings mind, The Three were neither male nor female, because they were the purest form of balance and even though at first glance, their appearance was male, divine feminine was also very much present.
"We have called this meeting to discuss yet one more unfortunate event that is unfolding as I speak." They said in the most whispery of voices he had ever heard. It was so soft and he felt it like a breeze sweeping across his brow, but it was also bell like while a much deeper tone undelined it. To Si Mings ears, their voices were in perfect female and male harmony and it was a sound he could only liken to a singing bowl that resonated both high and low tones.
"A marriage alliance of enormous importance, has been changed. Unfortunately, there will be repercussions which will eventuate in war." They continued on as he listened carefully to an event he vaguely recalled Di Jun mentioning.
