As if in a dream, Bai Qian said nothing as she listened to a conversation she had heard once before.  It was word for word and even the expressions and hand actions were the same.

"Qian Qian.  Don't look at me like that." her father pleaded having taken her shocked look for disdain.   "This is a wonderful opportunity.  If anyone is going to be able to get you into that school, it is Zhe Yan.  I myself would never get you in there, Mo Yuan knows my energy and will see through it." he insisted as she continued to listen in disbelief.  Though back then, she really had given him 'That' look, because she had not wanted to go to Kunlun Mountain.

Have I really gone back in time? she wondered to herself.  If she had, then that had to mean that Liang was safe didn't it?  The Demons where back, the Trolls were still behind their barrier and .....  gasping she quickly jumped in over her mother who had also tried to add weight to her fathers impassioned plea for her to accept this once in a life time opportunity.

"Father.  I will go, but I won't marry Prince Sang Ji of the Celestial Heavens or Prince Li Yuan of The Ghost Tribe." she blurted out.  "In fact I don't want you arranging any marriages at all for me until I have finished my schooling.  I want to find my own husband." she added with emphasis.

Staring at her as if she had said something extremely funny, her father blinked a few times while her mother merely frowned in confusion, because her sudden outburst came completely out of left field.

"What?" he asked staring blankly at her.

"It's just that I have a feeling I will find my match, so I don't want you arranging anything for me." she replied realizing once again that this was a new conversation to them and it showed in the look her father was giving her, because it seemed to him that his very flighty daughter was more concerned with boys rather than an education and suddenly it didn't seem like such a good idea after all only his wife was still too shocked that she was even considering it.

"So you agree?" her mother asked looking a little too hopeful while ignoring her own impassioned plea seeing as her mind was as flighty as a bumblebee which was one reason why they wanted to send her to Kunlun Mountain.

With a twinkle in her eyes which both parents mistook for mischief, she nodded her head in agreement.

"I agree.  I think it's a great idea." she replied and feeling overwhelmed at being given this second chance, while the trial she had just come out of, slowly began to ease out of her memories, though the look on her fathers face said he was not so sure.

But after a little consideration, seeing as he knew Mo Yuan well so knew exactly how he controlled his students, he decided to allow it, though he would ask for a quarterly report just to keep an eye on things.

"Then you leave first thing tomorrow morning." her father replied now looking at her as if it had been far too easy and that she was going to cause trouble which was another reason for wanting to send her there in the first place.

In fact, they had tried twice before to get their children into Kunlun Mountain.  First with Bai Yi, whos anger was far too volatile and needed taming only to be refused, because Bai Yi didn't want to be there and having threatened every senior there on arrival, he was kicked out a mere hour after arriving.  And secondly with Bai Zhen, who would have been accepted only he couldn't bear to leave Zhe Yan and cried when he tried to leave him there.  Not only did Zhe Yan have to take him home after only a few minutes on the Mountain, but Mo Yuan informed Bai Zhi that he would not accept anymore of his sons, they were far too pampered and not suitable.

Bai Qian however was a daughter, not a son, and if Mo Yuan refused her, he decided he would lay on the pressure using his alliance with Kunlun Mountain as added incentive to take her until he did.
