CHAPTER 7 GOOD JOB JAUNE

I had Pyrrha with me. We we're in Vail looking. I could tell Pyrrha wasn't going to last too much longer.

Me: We can go back. You don't look like you will last too much longer.

Pyrrha: We can keep going. This is important to you.

Me: I have been looking for a long... Who are you?

Pyrrha looked ahead and didn't see anyone. I was looking in an ally way. I hopped the fence and walked to a pile of trash. I pulled a bag off and revealed a dog. Not just any dog though, a husky. I looked at it. It was injured. I walked closer to it only for it to growl at me. I stepped back.

Pyrrha: Y/n: I don't think this is a good idea.

Me: It's injured. I got to help.

I stepped closer again and sat on the floor.

Me: Hello there. I don't want to hurt you.

I held out my hand. It growled. I slowly lowered it.

Me: I know you have no reason to trust me but let me help then you can leave.

Pyrrha: Y/n. It doesn't want you to help it.

I stood up and looked around. I didn't see much around. Then I saw a box. I looked in it and saw a bunch of bottles. I grabbed one and saw it had water in it. I then grabbed a trash bag and opened it. In it was a bunch of trash from a restaurant. I started digging through it until I found a half eaten burger patty. I also pulled out a piece of paper and some fries I found. I laid them down near the dog and sat across the ally way.

Me: Pyrrha, You might want to get back to Beacon. I might be a bit.

Pyrrha: I'm not going anywhere.

I chuckled. I watched as the dog tried to get up. I started moving trash bags from around it ignoring the growls. Soon there were no bags around it and it was laying on the floor. I pushed the food and drink closer to it and it started eating.

Me: What is this?

I noticed there is a chain around the dogs neck. That chain led to a concrete block that was stuck in the floor. I picked it up and the dog looked at me.

Me: This is a heavy chain.

I sat down and watched the dog eat. Soon it had finished the food and I reached out to it. It couldn't really move and I got closer to it.

Me: I'm here for you. Don't worry.

Green particles flew from my hand and went to the dog. Soon the dog stood up. I suddenly felt very tired. The dog walked closer to me. I reached out and the dog sniffed my hand. I reached back and grabbed the chain around its neck. The dog freaked out and bit me. I ignored the bite and unhooked the chain. The chain fell to the floor and the dog ran away. I smiled. Then I tried to stand up only to fall over.

Pyrrha: Y/n!

She ran to me.

Pyrrha: Are you okay?
