CHAPTER 11 A PLAN IN ACTION

I woke up and looked around. I was in my bed and Silver was looking out the window. I sat up and stretched. There were a few pops. I looked at Silver.

Me: I think it is almost time for a bath.

Silver lowered her ears.

Me: Not now. But soon. For now, I am going to...

My scroll went off.

Ruby: Today's the day. After class, come to our room.

Me: Am I going to get attacked?

Ruby: No. You should be good.

I sighed and got up.

Me: For now, I am hungry.

I got dressed and saw as Silver was at the door waiting. I opened the door and she ran through. I started running.

Me: Last one there is a rotten egg.

We started running down the hall and soon Ruby was next to us.

Ruby: You are going to lose your race. Oh and corner.

I looked at her confused until I crashed through a window and fell a few stories. Soon Ruby was hovering over me.

Me: When did you get so tall?

Ruby: Hey. I will have you know that I am average height.

Me: I'm not too sure about that.

Ruby: Hey.

I stood up and looked at Ruby.

Me: There we go. There's the short girl I know.

Ruby hit me. It didn't hurt much.

Me: Ruby. How good is your hand to hand?

Ruby: I am a good fighter with my scythe.

I sighed.

Me: A scythe can only go so far. Plus, while you were saying that, I started running.

Ruby was now far away. I knew I only a few seconds before Ruby would pass me so I booked it. Well, I lost. Silver was at our usual spot when I ran in and Ruby was already getting food. I got mine and Silver's and walked to where we were sitting. But my seat was taken. And it was taken by Cinder. She was talking to Ruby. I set Silver's food down and got a chair from someone. I can't let Ruby figure out that she is bad. At least not yet.

Ruby: Oh. And this here is Y/n.

I looked at Cinder.

Me: Hello again.

I went back to just staring off thinking when I felt something in my lap. I looked down to see Silver's head. I started petting her and she started wagging her tail.

Cinder: What was that?

She looked down and saw the tail.
