CHAPTER 31 THE EVENT

Smasher: I can't believe it.

Me: I can.

We were looking at a note from Emerald.

Me: She is here in Mistral. I will be seeing her tonight. When the fight for Haven starts.

Smasher: I see. And how do you know when that starts?

Me: Amber. She was the only one to see through me. I hope. And if not, I gave her a note.

Smasher: I see. And what did that note say?

Me: Sorry. Have to hide plan for now. Have scroll still, contact when alone.

Smasher sighed.

Me: She did and now, I know all that I need to. But for now, I have to catch up with Amber.

Smasher nodded. I walked out of the store and waited outside. Soon, Amber was there. She hugged me.

Me: Hello there.

Amber had tears in her eyes. I hugged her back. After a minute, she let go of me and hit me.

Amber: You scared me.

Me: I scared you? I held your lifeless body in my arms.

Amber: What?

Me: Yeah. You died in my arms. I don't know how you are here. But that doesn't matter. Me and you have a bit to do. And little time to do it.

Amber: What are you...

Me: I made you a promise before everything went down. And I am going to do that promise. Now come on.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her with me as I went to the mall they had in Mistral. Once we got there, we looked around for what to do. There was a lot.

Amber: This is cool.

Me: I agree. Now, what to do. We have almost all day. I am your...

Amber: I'm thinking either food, arcade, or movie.

Me: Got it. Movie check.

We ran to the movie theater and looked to see what movies were playing when.

Me: It is about 10:30 in the morning. What looks good to you?

We looked at the movie list and times.

Me: For movies, we have It, It Chapter 2 (Why those are both in the theater, I have no clue), Ready Player One, Your Name, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Iron Man, and Dora the Explorer The Lost City of Gold.

Amber thought for a second. Then she chose the movie.

Amber: Let's do Iron Man at 12:30.

Me: Got it. Follow me.

I walked up with her and bought the tickets. Then, I pulled Amber to the food court. We both got different food. I got a Philly cheese steak. Amber got a salad. Then I got a cookie to share. We ate the food then went to the arcade. We ended up playing air hockey for the rest of the time leading up to the movie. I only won once. After losing about 200 times and wining 1, We went to the movie. Neither of us were hungry so I bought drinks for us. We watched the movie and had a great time. After the movie, we walked around the mall until I saw a weapons shop.

Me: I need something from here.

Amber: What do you need?

Me: A weapon. I need a weapon. And I need to ask about what I can make it look like.
