Fire. That was all that could be seen from the wall of Mantle. I slowly pulled the blade out of me before kneeling down in pain. Neo, still worried, kneeled down with me and looked into my eyes. I just smiled at her before patting her head.
Me: I will be okay Neo. Don't worry. You know I have survived much worse.
Silver was watching the sky while Amber shivered a bit.
Me: Let's try to fix as much as this as we can before-
The airship blew up again, sending everyone flying back. The sounds of grimm was heard and I frowned, laying on the ground.
Me: Damnit... We must protect this wall while Ironass gets here to scold us.
Everyone nodded as they got up, looking out to the tundra.No one could see anything but the airship from before turned around and started flying back towards us.
Me: That is the slowest turn around ever. You would think there was a survive objective on the side of our screen.
I got a facepalm, a giggle, and a hand to the back of my head.
Me: Ow...
Suddenly, a couple sabers were spotted on the horizon and I got ready. Everyone else noticed and joined in before more appeared.
Silver: It's a goddamn hoard!
Me: Language please.
Silver: English and dog. ^-^

Silver giggled before looking at Amber.
Silver: Whoever kills more gets to cuddle Y/n first.
Amber smirked.

Neo ran out there and got a head start since she had overheard the bet.
Silver/Amber: OH NO!
I watched as the three girls ran out to fight the Grimm.
Me: Guess I will defend the wall myself. Get anyone who... They are gone. Long gone. I am just talking to myself now while watching my girls run towards a bunch of grimm dogs or cats... What even are sybers..? They are cats. Sybertooth cat.... Anyway! Running towards creatures who could kill them. But they can fend for themselves. They are strong and brave and... Is that a bug?!
A grimm centipede looking thing came out of the ground in front of me and hissed.
Me: I should have just gone with the girls...
Soon more bug Grimm started coming out from the ground and I was slashing at them while avoiding the acid they were spitting.
Me: God your breath stinks. Get a mint.
I could feel my injured body wanting to stop but I pushed on, hoping to get to the end of this hoard. I took a slight second to look up and noticed that the airship was going slowly still.
