Oscar Pine woke up in a panic and sighed in relief after looking around. He emerged from the loft of a barn and climbed down a ladder. The boy was wearing patched khaki pants, a white shirt, and orange suspenders and gloves. Tucked into his pocket was an orange-based multi-colored cloth. He opened the barn door to a peaceful country scene with a rising sun and birds tweeting. White mountains are a background to a dirt road, grass, a few trees and a green water pump.

He smiled and pumped water into a blue bucket. As his gaze wandered the landscape, he became distracted from the pump and uttered a quiet sound of surprise upon realizing he had overfilled the bucket. His shoulders fell with a sigh. The then used his family's composer tumbler. Then he hoed
(Is that the past tense of hoeing? Is hoeing the present tense for using a hoe? I don't know and I am lazy.) his garden. Suddenly he strightened up and looked into the distance. He could see an airship flying in the distance.

MEANWHILE (Y/n)

I was relaxing letting the ship go on auto pilot. I had decided to play my guitar and was strumming random stuff from random songs. Then I heard a beeping noise. I stood up and could feel the pain in one of my legs. I limped and followed it to see the walkie was working. I picked up and turned up the volume.

Walkie: Who is this?

Me: This is the Atlas airship Blue Two. Who is this?

Walkie: I'm just a farmer. It isn't every day an Atlas airship flys by. Is something wrong?

Me: No. Just passing by.

I heard a sigh of relief.

Walkie: Thank goodness. Sorry for taking up your time.

Me: It is no problem. I'm glad you decided to check. Most people just ignore these things.

Walkie: It makes me feel safer to check.

Me: Makes sense. You have nothing to worry about.

Walkie: Roger that.

The line went silent and I put the walkie back on the stand it was stationed at. Then I looked at the fuel gauge. It was very close to empty. I limped to the back of the ship and started filling more dust into it. When I finished, I checked the gauge that was there. It won't get me to Atlas. But it might get me to Haven. Then I can buy more fuel there. But that will be expensive. I might have to work for a little bit. Oh well.

I limped back to the bridge and saw one thing that scared me.

Me: Why are you here?

She jumped and turned around.

Me: Well? I don't have time for stupidity. I have to get to Atlas.

(With a pit stop at Haven for work and fuel)

Emerald: I... Why didn't I hear you?

Me: Can't tell you. Now why are you here?

Emerald: You know how to fly this?

Me: No.

Emerald: So we are flying on a ship to some place?
