The Alpha's Rebel

Chapter 1

I'm grinning as I walk backwards on the pavement, both my middle fingers in the air. Laughter is coming out of my mouth, but it's not just any type of laugh. It's a full on cackle, and rightfully so. The high school looms in front of my friends and I, and all of us are in the same spirits.

Well, except for Molly. She's in tears that it's over.

"Fuck you, Conrad!" Thay shouts into the air. I know our principal probably can't hear it, but it's the thought that counts. I hear Vinnie's laugh turn into a roar after Thay shouts this, and I can't help but to follow in his footsteps.

Kaitlyn throws her arm around my shoulder and I trip over her foot. I grab onto her to stop myself from falling, but we both end up on the ground anyways. We're laughing our asses off, both from the excitement of being done with school and because we're rolling around on the crumbling, burning hot pavement.

"Come on, you two, get up," Thay grins, reaching out both his hands. Kaitlyn grabs first and he pulls her up, and she rushes to catch up with Vinnie and Molly. I reach my hands up for Thay to grab, and he pulls me up. I lean in and press my lips to his, wrapping my arms tightly around his neck after he releases my hands.

I smirk into the kiss as his hands grab my ass, and I pull back. "Later," I say seductively, biting my lip because I know it drives him crazy. I see it in his eyes, the way they darken and become out of control. It's always been like that between us.

"Come on," I grin, totally changing the mood around. "We have to catch up to the others."

I grab his hand and run to where the others are. "Who's ready to fucking party!" I scream, and I'm met with loud whoops and cheers from every other teenager in the parking lot, including my group of friends.

I drove to school today, so everyone crawls into the stifling hot car. I roll down all four windows and blast the air conditioning as soon as I turn the key into the ignition. "Harp, your seat is burning my ass!" Kaitlyn screeches, jumping up and hitting her head on the ceiling.

Vinnie bursts out into laughter, and I even hear Molly giggling as I race out of the parking lot. "It'll cool down, just give it a few minutes," I tell her, glancing at her through the rearview mirror. She's not sitting down, so she's hunched over and holding onto the passenger seat instead.

I drop Kaitlyn off at the pack house and Molly and Vinnie off at their house, and then I drive to Thay's apartment. It's practically mine too, considering I stay the night more times than not. Half the closet belongs to me, and my stuff is all over the apartment.

The second we're behind the closed door, I'm pushed up against the wall and Thay's lips are on mine. I smirk and wrap my arms around his neck, pushing my body up against his. A groan escapes his lips, and he yanks my shirt up and over my head. His hands find the back of my thighs, and he lifts me up so I can wrap my legs around his waist.

He carries me to the bedroom and all but throws me onto the bed. I smirk at him as he crawls on top of me. He tries to press his lips to mine once again, but I stop him so I can pull his shirt over his head. I wrap my hand around his neck and pull his face to mine so our lips can meet once again.

The five of us walk through the front door, the bass from the music only becoming louder in our ears. Thay and I immediately head towards the kitchen, Kaitlyn immediately heads for the dance floor, and Vinnie and Molly go out to the backyard.

The house is crowded, and I'm pretty sure the entire school showed up. Even some of little fourteen year olds who are technically considered freshman now. You can easily pick them out of a crowd. Their desperate eyes darting around the room, hoping an upper class man will take an interest in them. The uncertain glances at the red solo cups in their hands.
